Yeah agree! Eclipse looks great too because it's similar to the actual stealth bombers in the USAF. When exactly would one be bombing ground targets?

If you want to pee off half the server...... the drug labs during the Jumptown events.

Remember you liked the A2? well that's what its for....

That is worth watching from start to end, if you're wondering what Jumptown is and its a good video.

Yeah I watched that video months ago when you linked it, possibly over 4 or 5 :D Ok so I should buy the Eclipse as it's not £700 and then bomb the **** out of everything I can during that event. Hard t avoid friendly fire if you got comrades down below :D

I'm just trying to get to the expo so I can rent a 400i to play with!

keep having 30Ks before I get there, or even worse after I land on Microtech and before I can get to the event. Attempt number 5 coming up..

I've had to double check to be sure but as i remembered, i was not sure... the Eclipse is a "Torpedo Bomber" it launches Torpedo's, like the Retaliator.

If you're looking for an affordable ground bomber, the Spirit A1, its even cheaper than the Eclipse.

Cost, warbond is new money - you can't use store credit (from melting ships, reclaiming existing purchases)
"standard Edition" can be store credit. But they have additional cost as you aren't adding anything to funding.

I really like the C1 Spirit and 400i. I want to drop to 1 ship so need to pick.

Everything else is likely to get melted so I can get my privateer back on buyback next time I have a token. Time to earn the rest in-game.

Oh ok and upgrade pledge means you pay the difference as opposed to buying it stand alone I guess.
Or for some reason you can melt any ship you have for store credit, but then can't use that in the lower price warbond so probs doesn't work out any cheaper.

Right on all counts.

This is a game mainly about spaceships so naturally the first thing out of my rentals I am trying is a tank. Problem is I can't work out how to open the Garage door lol. I thought it would be same as ATC so Alt+N.

Edit: Worked it out, I had to connect to space port coms channel then do it.

Eff me, a bit tight there on clearance:

(Mánadagr) Evocati Playtest Tomorrow! At 10am CST | 16:00 UTC we are going to open up the Tech Preview channel for a Replication Layer test for 4 hours for ETF (tentative start time). This will be on an 3.21 build. This is not a stress test! Play as normal and we will be monitoring, testing behind the scenes stuff, and performing server captures.
Nice!!!

I'm torn on the Spirit, it's a fun ship that looks cool, currently flies fine. An extra £50 for the A1 bomber version is rubbish (combat versions always cost more) but it is fun. What they've announced of the Zeus shows once again that they're constantly changing and advancing what they do with ships. Aka the new ones are "better" designs. And that as normal, we (and them) have no idea what things will look like in the future. They started another ship rebalance wave with components with the Zeus which makes it pointless to compare specs. The Spirit is currently not what I'd call fast, especially in atmo even though speed is one of the main selling points of Crusader ships. They've screwed up the animations for the A1 bombs so you can only launch one bomb at a time. The animation of opening the door, dropping bomb, closing door, needs to fully happen before another bomb can drop (3+secs). There's just a list of things that yes, things are still in development, but I feel they've simply not cared about before releasing something. The Storm being another prime example.

I'm swithering over upgrading my Titan to a SC1 or ZCL though. Unless you simply prefer the looks of the Spirit, there doesn't seem any point currently in buying(£) it over the Zeus.

I really want them to release the Redeemer class ship from other manufactures as well. :)

I'm hoping the Constellation retains some sort of advantage over the Zeus other than some of them having snub fighters. As it looks on paper like the Zeus will be vastly better especially the CL - with a tractor beam that can load all cargo, which the Constellation can't ever do due to it's current configuration.
