What would you guys recommend I roll as a alt or even two alts?

I have a Jedi sent atm which is giving me trouble, I'm not too good at all this MMO stuff lol.

So I'd like to Roll an alt that is a little easier to handle.

Any ideas?

Any dps focused character is pretty easy to handle and low pressure in groups.

As with most mmo releases, lots will say it will die, but it will go on and on for years. Every mmo release goes through the same cycle with the community.

It's things like that which have made Bioware loose subs, i remember crashing non-stop in Taris with it's massive memory leaks. I looked on the forum and 3+ months before release it had a big thread on it. It still made it into release though.

Hopefully they pull things around, as it's not a bad game it's just been brought out half finished and Bioware are dragging their heels when it comes to fixing bugs/gameplay etc.

I have no doubt they will turn things around, but I don't see what is taking so long given the size of the development team. I have seen tiny mmo teams bring out patches and hot fixes almost daily for the first few weeks after release. No idea what bioware are playing at.

Like you say, many of these things were mentioned numerous time in beta. Lots of people kept telling me they had been fixed or were being fixed, but clearly not.

Well I had memory leaks, graphical glitches and an amusing bug where my companion would lie face down in the ground as if he was dead, but in reality was still alive and would still move with you. Nothing more than inconviences though.

The only bug I have had so far is the face down bug that you mention - difference is it would sometimes happen to my character. Nothing more than a minor annoyance.

Anyone on Hydian Way, is it me or has it suddenly become deserted? This was one of the busiest servers if I recall correctly!
(Admitedly I am not playing as much these days simply due to lack of time).

By the way - Rested Zones - Are they only in the Fleet area or Cantinas?

Thanks for noticing the cancel option guys. Might resub the future, but still too many of the problems still present from beta. Too many issues not getting hot fixes too.

Good that they are sorting Ilum, but there have been too mny of these problems that haven't been fixed quickly enough. All resulting in a borked game IMO.

a) there is never a reimbursement for such a thing during an mmo release
b) compared to most mmo releases, TOR has been down very little. Too little IMO because they have been very slow to fix stuff.

Actually I agree, the problem is there downtimes are at annoyingly bad times during the days.

Someone will always be unhappy though given that it is played across multiple time zones. As for hot fixes, they should go in ASAP. Agreed that it is annoying though when you can't play a game that you have paid for.

Yeah, take slicing as you will also find a lot of nodes to slice whilst doing quests, the cash soon adds up

Biochem is far more useful. You get plenty of credits later on in the game.

Biochem, Bioanalysis and Slicing ***.

You will lose anything gained from slicing by having to buy the crafting supplies that you need for the higher end stuff.

Anyone else finding their companion bugging out way more often lately? it's really doing my head in constantly getting stuck/not following or deciding by himself to stop assisting, odd.

Recently? I had that problem randomly since release. More annoying when. My companion would randomly aggro additional mobs.

I think people forget how complex and overwhelming mmos are the first time you play them.

dinged 50 last night and my time ran out today, dont think i'm going to renew though lol

It was a great moment to get to 50 and to finish the story. Then I realise there was nothing worthwhile to do. Oh well
