The armor similarities are down to them all being based really off of the Mandalorian clan's armor. They were some amazing fighting clan that were legendary, think as if all our armor was based off samurai styles. The clones (and thus stormies) were styled from Jango Fett, who wore Mandalorian armor because he was a badass bounty hunter and Mandalorian is the mutts nutts (In fact he may have been a Mandalorian descendant or some such). The Mandalorians were about from the start of the whole Sith/Jedi thing (Sith allies maybe?), so I guess you *could* assume design attributes were also stolen from them during the period of TOR.

On the other hand, I think it might be playing into the whole classic sci-fi cliche of 'everything happens in cycles' ala Matrix/BSG etc. etc.

I hope that some people on this forum will share there passes with the good community here.

Would definitely love the opportunity to test the game. So if anyone feels generous enough, i'd love an invite. :D

Thats a bit worrying for you then, as this appears to be more like SWG after the changes than before it ;)

Not sure if I will get invited but if I get an invite or more I will give them all away to people on here as although I am signed up for beta I'm not really fussed about getting it.

Sadly this suggests that there won't be a huge amount of people offered beta keys to give away.

I'm willing to perform...favours in return for a beta key ;)

While I would love a beta invite if people manage to get them, I have resigned myself to the fact I will have to wait until launch. Hopefully the wait won't be too painful now. :)
