I read the latest update on betacakes last night called:

"STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™ : Level 47 Tester gives his feedback"

I just have a question, at the bottom of that guys article he says:

What are operations?

Also he says:
Flashpoints
Defiantly without a doubt, the coolest thing in the game.
It is just a shame that they only put a sum total of 4 flashpoints in the game so fare (I think 4 for each side). This raises some concerns for me because flashpoints are where the MMO of the MMORPG comes in. I hope and pray that the retail version of the game will feature many MANY flashpoints and not just the 4 which is in the beta atm. I have tried 3 of them and they are all great. It is where I get the most caught up in the story, mostly because I am sharing it with others. (Add to that the fun part when someone says something in a conversation that is totally opposite of what you can and should say!)

And earlier in this thread I asked you guys what flashpoints were, and you told me they were equivelent to 5 man instances in wow...so am thinking to myself why only 4 instances? in wow there must have been over 50x 5 man and then at high level proper more then 10 different raids instances, in the old days they were 40 man, and then they changed to 10 man and 20 man, and now I think they have some 25 man in cata.

If this game only has 4, what the hell, that is shocking!! I never liked PVP wow and only played to be in a guild and play with friends and enjoy raiding, so if I cant do 5 mans and raids, then there would be nothing for me to do after levelling...and the levelling wouldn't be as fun without the 5 mans. And I know there's probably more people that enjoy pvp then pve, its probably something like 70% of the wow community enjoyed pvp and 30% enjoyed pve, but thats still millions of people!!

The reason I use wow for those figures is because thats the mmo I come from, and is the biggest mmo, so good to use for example.
 
In WoW there were 19 dungeons at launch, and that's if you compress the different wings (Scarley Monastery, Dire Maul, Blackrock Spire etc.). Also, two raids.

Feedback on Flashpoints seems to be unanimously praising them. It will be a shame if the best things in the game are so rare.
 
Personally I would like to see them put out a good number of high level flashpoints and not just limit endgame to raiding.

I don't think Dire maul was at launch dude. ah good old memories of scarlet monastery, scary to get to as a low level alliance back in the days of world pvp :)

Two raids?.. well, Onyxia was pretty much a small corridor with a boss. Hardly on the scale of MC. But yeah if we're only going to see 4 as we level that's a bit low. They of course come after starter zones, I'd imagine at level 15,25,35,45 and "raids" 50. Let's not forget you can join other people on their class quests so if it's not the same class as you, it's content.

I'm sure they'll add more, if not at release but later.
If they're also a lot better than wow dungeons the lack of them should make up with quality, as I'm hearing good things about them.

There was talk of a SWTOR guild being set up for the people of this forum, however I'm not sure if that is going to remain at talk or progress into something.

Me personally I'm looking for a bit more of a casual guild and most likely on the Republic side, so the complete opposite of your guild really :p

You guys have a good website and I hope you succeed, however it isn't my sort of style so I won't be joining you.
