Someone should have told Bioware... nobody cares about stories in MMO games... I don't know anyone that does just *click* *click* *click* *click* through the gumps.
The original developers of SWG were incredibly bold in the amount of things they tried to implement at the same time in a game, almost too much so as a lot of things were broken and never fixed, this game will be judged to that end because nobody will be that bold again i don't think.
Sounds like this game is going to leave off exactly where Lucas Arts did with SWG, dumbed down linear gaming
I bet Bioware wish SWG wasn't a Star Wars game as they are never going to hear the end of it

A couple of days left, but not really much more in the way of developments. I stopped playing a while back, but pop online now and again.
The feedback on the testing forums is still very mixed. The betaleaks website is amusing me since it is only posting the "positive" aspects of the game. I am starting to wonder how "independent" they actually are.
There is a lot of work to be done. I will be waiting to see what the feedback is like on release.

I reckon they will release in November regardless. As with many mmo releases (especially mmos involving EA) it will come down not to whether its ready but whether its deemed ready enough.
If it releases in it's current state they'll get slaughtered for the LFG system (or lack thereof) and the lack of Flashpoints.
Non Star Wars fans who are hoping to move from WoW to ToR are going to be really disappointed, I think.

I've always thought a 2012 release, possibly pushed back to Spring.

I would agree with this too. It needs more development, but I doubt they are going to get the time to do it.

Well I’m not sure it will be November? I can’t see them releasing their two biggest games so close to each other(Battlefield 3 Oct 28th). Also COD 6 (lost count) is a November release too. I’m sure they want a release date where there is nothing else distracting people’s attention away from Star Wars. Maybe we get to hear something at Comic Con this week.
