And if anyone knows anything about Arsenal and Wenger...hes loathed to splash £30odd mill on a player...i cant remember if hes ever spent that much on a player or even £20mill at a push.

I believe that Arsenal's record signing is Andrei Arshavin at ~£15m as although Jose Antonio Reyes would have cost more at ~£17m he left before certain clauses in his contract were triggered to ensure the whole fee didn't get paid.

Indeed but those signings werent exactly mega bucks were they??...like i said Wenger isnt going to sign a £50mill rated striker...thats not his style and never will be even if he had the money to spend.

SSN reporting that Arsenal have offered £135k a week to J Cole:eek:...hoping that its true.

Also Daily fail currently saying Wenger has £30 mill to spend plus anything else if Fabregas goes to Barca this yr. Phil Jagielka, Schwarzer and Pienaar all being linked to Arsenal for possible signings this summer.

Would quite like Jagielka and Cole. Although I doubt Everton would sell for cheap and Wenger wouldnt pay much more than £10m so thats a no go in my eyes.

I dont see much improvement on what we have already with looking at Schwarzer and Pienaar.

CB's are our priority with Gallas and Senderos leaving this summer.

Is Ozil one of those players that just looks good in world cups or is he a good player? Looked quality tonight (admittedly against an average Ozzy side), had that sort of swagger about him as well.

i would agree kaka is better but their positions are dissimiliar, i see kaka more as an am.

sure malouda is stronger on the ball physically but there are attributes that robinho has that he betters malouda in and id say on his game robinho is the better player.

balotelli is a striker and is simply too young and not been in the game long enough to say he is a complete footballer.

i think ribery is a very good winger, one of the best, but i think he plays out wide and not in the same role as messi/ronaldo/robinho

robben again is a very good winger and does drift in. he can be argued to be better/worse than robinho

i dont think vaart is as good as robinho at his best.

as for robinho, his position is winger/foward. after messi and ronaldo he is the best in that position when on form. who else is better?

There are better players the Robinho.

he lacks strength, so against more physical teams a lot of players would be better.

kaka, malouda, balotelli, ribery, robben, vaart

Not all of these are as good / better then Robinho :p

What are these two like?

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considering making a double Ajax swoop this summer for young defensive pair Gregory Van der Wiel and Jan Vertonghen.

And again Wenger says that Fabregas wont be sold:

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed midfielder Cesc Fabregas will not be sold - and claimed he will not even discuss his future.

Not sure I believe that though.
