If your dream club come in for you - cant really blame the guy for wanting to measure himself against the best, whatever happens it should still improve his abilities

Pretty annoyed if Utd didnt try and sign him for more than the rumoured £8m though - thats petty cash even for a club in so much debt lol (especially considering what he will be worth in a year's time etc)

Supposedly Liverpool have dropped their interest in Crouch after Spurs asked £15million for him, allegedly we've now turned our attentions towards Carlton Cole for £12million. I'd prefer Cole I must admit but for 12 million I am sure we could get someone else.

In other news, apparently Everton are now the latest club to be linked with Loic Remy, seems to have been linked with about 7 premier league teams this summer including Arsenal, Liverpool, Stoke, Birmingham and Sunderland.

Sunderland are prepared to Sell Kenwynne Jones (papers saying SToke, but I cannot see him going there even if we have accepted a bid) my personal feeling is stoke are being used by the player to smoke out a couple of bigger teams..such as Liverpool or Spurs who have shown interest in the past

Hatem Ben Arfa is one of those players I know absolutely nothing about, yet know his name because every season he's linked with someone.
 
Ozil to Barcelona for £8.3 mil which is what, an even 10 million euros?

Can't see why Ozil would describe it as his dream-move, clearly he was not their first choice, and Barca have presumably only moved for him having failed to get Cesc...

Still he'll be another option in their frankly terrifying array of skilful attacking midgets, and at least from a gooner's point of view he hasn't gone to Chelsea or United. As much as I would have liked to see him in the Prem I don't like to see our rivals become yet stronger than us...
 
Time for Gill/SAF to pull a rabbit out of a hat and surprise everyone with THE signing of the summer (yeah I know its not going to happen - I knew the win on Sunday was the worst thing that could happen)
