Interesting...i too was extremely angry when he high fived Redknapp after the spurs game, and as much as i love him as a player like always his temper etc gets the better of him and so i expect him to be sold within in the next few weeks...and its good that were considering fining him because we need to show were not push overs (:p) and that a player who had a good season doesnt demand a place in the team etc and is free to talk to the press behind Mancini and City

I think it all pretty much started with Bellamy telling the board they did a crappy thing in firing Hughes, which is fair, and Mancini took offense when really I don't see anything against him. Also he had a knee injury and his doctors/trainers had him on a specific training schedual, again, pretty standard in dealing with an injury and Mancini was a little heavy handed in forcing him to train under someone Mancini knows. When you have an injury and you trust your doctor/trainer though, you'd not take kindly being forced to see someone you don't know. I can understand Bellamy being peeved, high fiving Redknapp is really borderline and pushing it, but by then he'd been screwed around with and by that stage I think everyone thought he'd be moving on, or moved on by Mancini so fair game to be honest.

Did he really high five Redknapp though, I can't remember seeing it, just hearing about it.

Meh, its just stupid from City, for the fact that Mancini's top priority clearly isn't keeping players happy, and getting rid of Bellamy, who along with Tevez were the two best players in the team by a pretty huge margin(ok 3, Given also), is just daft, even more so when he's miles better than Johnson, SWP, and Silva's yet to be proven and probably not as good.

ROFL!!!

Sullivan is a ****ing clown!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...8m-says-West-Ham-chairman-David-Sullivan.html

Chairman David Sullivan said on Wednesday night: “We have cooled on Yakubu. When you have a good hard look at him, we want younger and quicker and better.
"Everything has a price. You want to get Yakubu for £1-2 million and they are quoting £8 million and that is far too much.

They have to be more realistic. If they said £1-2m we might go back. We bid more at the start of the summer because we had more flexibility but, at this moment in time, having spent some of our money on other players we want him for £1-2m.

What a tit!

Tevez wont leave but i see Bellamy leaving especially with his performance last night (3 assists and 1 goal) and yeh i think basically Mancini doesnt like him as much as hes a good player he would prefer someone like Balotelli....and yeh he did if you watch as Redknapp gets up from his seat and is stood at the end of the tunnel Bellamy comes up to him with jacket etc on and high fives him with a big smile :/....also i would like to say im annoyed that Robinho has been included in the Euro squad and Silva hasnt unless Robinho has been told he has no option and hes staying and wants to play but still i would have put Silva in the squad over Viera!!!!
on another subject ive just been reading that Bebe guy was playing for portugal in the homeless world cup a year or so ago lol

Agreed buit taking that point of view begs this question, why does Wenger continue to moan about rough tactics from the likes of Bolton and Blackburn when he packed a team out of the likes of Adams, Keown and Veiriaiaia who used to kick 7 shades out of the opposition.

It's double standards by Arsenal yet again, do you ever hear any other manager moaning about playing rough?
So who are you criticising here, the manager, the players, or the fans?

"Manchester United are interested in signing £9m-rated Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, 17, from Anderlecht."

We sign BeBe and are after a 17 year old, and spend about £17m on the two but can't stump up the cash for Ozil.

£9m for a 17 year old is a lot of cash...

Rangers are in talks with James Beattie and Tommy Smith.

Anyone able to comment on their current form/status?

Both now in their 30`s and fee`s of 1.5 million being banded about.

Worth a punt?

Seems we are still in negotiations too for Nicika Jelavic of Rapid Vienna.

Looks a very decent player with a far better sell on value than either Beattie or Smith.

I saw him play a bit for Derby in highlights when he was on loan there, he has good touch and passing, but for a tall guy he's pretty weak, nor does he have any great pace. I don't think he's much of a grafter either, so he might struggle a bit in the SPL, but I don't know. He has plenty of flair, and a year to toughen up in Scotland could polish him into a decent player, but he's what 20 now? I had kinda given up on him ever breaking into the Arsenal team.

edit. lol just had a look on wiki to check his age... well the Derby loan was two seasons ago now; I thought it was last season, but he was just playing for the reserves for the whole of 09-10, played just once for our first team in the Carling Cup...

I'd say thats kinda spot on for him, he's probably going to be a good Championship player in terms of the English league maybe a bottom PL side but certainly nothing more.

I guess it`ll either make him or break him up here then. Rangers fans are pretty savage on players who appear not to be trying or giving 100%.

The likes of Van Bronckhurst, Gattuso, Cuellar and Arteta learned this very quickly and it didn`t do their career`s any harm.

Hopefully playing in front of 52,000 every second week will spur him on.

Theres no hiding place up here.
