Ha I did sign him when I was playing as Barnet back on FM08 as it goes! He and Jay Simpson got me right up to the Championship, had to ship them out then though :D

I actually thought he would be pushing for the Arsenal 1st team this season. I havent seen him play in ages but I have only heard good things about him recently.
 
when he was playing he looked like a bargain though. Pulis just can't manage strikers and for some reason loves that donkey Sidibe; who is a Leage One player at best. Hell his better brother got turned away here ;)
 
The man city fans who are worried about silva not being in the europe squad need not worry as once you qualify proper you can make additions.

He'd be a good buy for Ipswich. He's floundered in the Premier League there's no getting around it, but he's a quality championship striker if played right.

Big, powerful loan striker that loves to hold off the last defender, turn and power them in.

He was good for us at Swansea.
 
I'm surprised at Bruce selling Kenwyne Jones to Stoke, especially seeing as they will be mid-table rivals this season I imagine.

I can't imagine he's thinking that Wellbeck is a direct replacement for him, so maybe Bruce isn't going to play two up front this season, and it'll be a 4-3-3. There's very little backup for Bent now though, and with the loss of Cana as well, I'd be a tad peeved if I was a Mackem.

I'm not so sure, judging by his stats, he's certainly a similar player to mascha. His stats weren't quite as good as monster's but they were much better than the rest of our players. However, obviously stats don't tell the whole story. Still, I have faith in Hodgson's judgement.
 
And probably not going to attract better players, if you even could - you can't afford to spend all that money. £4.5m for someone you'd get over £20m or so for, decent enough business.
 
Its £2.2million now and £2.2million in 2011. With an addition £1million on performances and success. Good deal. Haven't seen a lot of him but looking forward to doing so.

Hoping Masc wont leave for anything less than £25million.
 
Brad Jones to Liverpool is looking closer to a done deal. Boro fans everywhere are astounded he's coming to Liverpool and how they've managed £2.5m for him.

Him/Mascherano are pretty similar players really, both dirty ****'s :p.

I wonder if they are selling that Cavalieri, and if so - maybe they are getting more than the £2.5m or whatever they are paying? Penny pinching if so.
