As I said earlier in this thread, although the way in which it has come about it's ideal, it is refreshing to see a club deciding which club a player joins.

I meant in respect to his career. He's still a Premier League quality player and could still demand such wages from another club. But instead of just selling and be done with him I had thought they'd chosen a lower league side in a sort of 'get rid' fashion.

Wouldn't surprise me given his antics at Newcastle. Another trouble maker that needs bringing down a peg or two. If he doesn't want to play for the club they should stop paying his wages.

Personally think Wigan will be ok in the long run (even without N'zogbia)

West Brom & West Ham will go down significantly lower than 18th placed team which is between Stoke, Wolves and Blackpool

I know lots of people **** off Bramble, but as he's getting older he is making less mistakes. It's unlikely he'll ever wipe out that part of his game but he isn't the mug that people make him out to be. Under Steve Bruce at Sunderland he should improve further, and for the reported fee of £1m I think they've got a brilliantly physical central defender.
