Looks like Inter have made an official bid for Kuyt just days after Hodgson confirmed they would not be bidding for any of our players.

Don't really know what to make of this one. It's been confirmed by Kuyt so either Hodgson's been telling porkies or the board have gone behind his back.

If its for the reported £15m and we can get someone else in, I'd happily let him go to be honest. He's a solid squad member, but he's not a winger and if he cant get a place up front, he should go.

Maybe Im being a bit harsh and I like the guy, but I've grown tired of players playing out of position.

I've seen a few reports saying he'll decide on his future this weekend and the deal could be as low as £8 million. If he leaves we'll only have a few days to find a left back, striker and winger :(

Edit: That's assuming we're still trying to push Insua out of the club.

£8million would be ridiculous and pointless, certainly wouldnt want to get rid unless it was a very good deal. It does look like we are trailing all three positions even without him leaving, heavily linked with Toivenen (Striker), Ruiz (Winger) and Salcido (LB). Have to say I'm very suprised that Babel is still here.

spurs(((mobile))) We are delighted to announce the signing of William Gallas on a one year deal.

EDIT;
We are delighted to announce the signing of William Gallas on a one year deal.

The France international was part of the Chelsea side that won back-to-back Premier League titles as well as the League Cup in 2005. His performances during Chelsea's second Premier League-winning campaign saw him included in the 2005/06 PFA Premier League Team of the Year.

The former Caen and Marseille defender, 33, left Stamford Bridge after five seasons, during which he made 213 appearances and scored 14 goals, to join Arsenal in September 2006. Gallas captained the side during the 2007/08 campaign and went on to make 145 appearances, scoring 17 goals before leaving at the end of last season.

In other news, Loic Remy who was supposedly on the way to about 6 premiership clubs over the last few months and seemed to be going to Marseille, has had his medical but they've found a heart defect and he may have to quit football altogether!

now time for all the fans to get behind him and the team. Anything less will just show them up to be small minded idiots who allow their hatred of Arsenal to take precedent over their love for Spurs. Which no matter how you look at it, it's not good.

Where did u hear this? havnt heard anything from the usual places yet.

Not worth getting rid to be honest, Roy wouldnt have the cash to buy a decent replacement (we'r already up like 20 million and spent about 1/4 that, if that), and the other offer im hearing about is 7.5 mill + some youth kid who's only claim to fame is a single goal in a friendly vs Man City.
No thanks.

Victor Obinna. And i stand corrected .. it was two goals :p

Still, 15 mill AND roy getting all the funds, yes (But this will never happen).
7.5 mill + a castoff - no.

Confirmed: Squillaci to have Arsenal medical on Monday
Sevilla Football Club has tonight confirmed defender Sebastien Squillaci will fly to London tonight ahead of a medical at Arsenal.

The French defender will have the examination at London Colney ahead of signing a deal believe to be in the region of £6million.

Now get a goalkeeper in please :D
