Lose a tenner on Aquilani, not too bad then. If we take wages into account we have spent an awful lot less than Arsenal, Utd or Chelsea (and Im pretty sure Spurs and City too).
Opps, missed a m out, edited now.

A superior player based on the fact Yaya couldnt get a game ahead of Busquets.
but at least now surely you must get some sort of funds for...someone.
Bill Kenwright said on SSN that Pienaar had been offered a final contract that is a 'wonderful offer' and there will be no further offers by them.
And he thinks we can get 4th.
**** off you fat lying ****. If Pienaar wanted to stay then he would have signed a 5 year contract not 3 to start off with. If it was so ****ing wonderful then he would have signed it when he was offered it.
What a joke.
How's it laugh out loud? Did i say you'd spend £20m on a player? It must at least allow some sort of leverage for a player, or a loan.glad there are still some genuinely laugh out loud moments on this forum.
Most Liverpool fans know we will not see a penny of that money. God I hate our con-men owners.
Without the leveraged buyout Liverpool had an operating profit of £24m. With the clowns in charge we make a net loss of £10m thanks to debt. I know Utd/Arse/Chelsea fans must be loving it, but it's just so unfair that this whole situation was thrown on us out of our control. It's not like Leeds where we outspent our mean, we've just been screwed over by a leveraged buyout - same is true for Utd but they might survive due to larger revenue streams.
Why is it a joke?
He was signed on loan and then given a 3 year deal. 3 years was worth the gamble because especially for his first year at everton he looked incredibly light weight and pretty damn average. If he'd been given a 5 year deal and flopped people would question the sanity of signing him.
The rumour is he's been offered 60k+ per week which although he's decent enough he doesn't deserve partity with a Cahill or Arteta. He was plucked from a career going nowhere. We did him a favour now he thinks he's worth more than 60k per week. Atleast Cahill and Arteta remember that and have rewarded the club with loyalty.
He really isn't that good either, he had one decent season last year and now he things his ronaldhino. I couldn't careless if we sold him for 8-10 million.
Sell him on then now.
The only bit thats a joke is us making 4th.

That could be to do with the colour of his skin though. Barcelona have only got 2 black players left in their first team squad and haven't even been linked to any in quite a while. It may just be a coincidence though.
Really? He's only been with you for 3 full seasons
Well Adebayor basically wants to leave...http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereve...e_away_from_city?page=2&page_size=25#comments
Now Adebayor doesnt want to be considering the move he wants to be doing it...the guy shows no passion whats so ever,i can now see what Arsenal fans bang on about...Anyways its not a big loss as Balotelli is twice the player Ade will ever be....and Ade leaving gives Jo/Nimley a better chance of playing/bench
I think it'd be a mistake for City letting Adebayour go. You're going to have a long season, and relying on your youngsters won't help (Nimely/Caicedo), leaving Tevez/Balotelli out of the ones you're likely to keep/play. I don't see Robinho staying if they get a half decent offer.
Tevez/Balotelli/Ade/Jo is more like it, imo.
Almost as shocking as you having nothing useful to say.
He's not dreaming Frank, you just don't have a clue what you're talking about
The only reason Masch is allowed to leave for anything like ~£24m (if that's what he's sold for) is because if he doesn't leave now then his value would halve next summer. He's considerably better than a couple of other midfielders that were sold this summer for similar fees and imo better than Alonso who was sold for at least £6m more last summer too.
From our point of view there wasn't a lot we could do; only 1 serious bidder in the market and in reality we had to sell him this summer.
Really? He's only been with you for 3 full seasons
Neither Lucas or Poulsen (Poulsen in particular) are fit enough to lace Masch's boots.I think that's a decent enough price for Mascherano, at least his TYPE of play is replaceable in Lucas/Poulsen, albeit Lucas isn't the finished article and Poulsen is majorly unfit, but at least now surely you must get some sort of funds for...someone.
He was sold for what he was worth - if you had got double the price then the original post would have been correct
opinions differ - just because you dont agree no need to be rude , if anything makes you further in the wrong as the paid amount is now fact (ie £17.25m to start)
Even with 2 years to go he would be worth more than what IS being paid if his actual value was nearer this completely fictional £30m
