Leading revolts? Was he gathering up the players and chanting songs or something?

I think it was more a case of him being a bit unhappy, loyalty is something that clearly means nothing at the club, and he was probably annoyed after doing so well last season and then being shipped out on loan to a half decent championship side?

Also, point out where I've said City shouldn't spent money?

I think it's pointless (as Bellamy could be considered) to bring players in for a high amount of money to do a job for a season, more money then sense. Hart had being very impressive for City before Given coming in.

"being ready", bull****, really? He looked good before, needed a season for experience and City weren't going to win anything last season, what was wrong with starting to build a squad / team rather then just buying whatever you can get?

Why do you ***** £32 million on a player, ect ect when it's clear you're still a long way of getting anywhere near where you "think" you should be?

Instant success?

Build towards something, don't just ***** money on a team, build one, if it takes 2-3 seasons so be it, you'd get a better reputation and more respect from fellow fans.

No he wasnt but sources told me that he demanded explanations of Hughes sacking etc
and i pointed out that you didnt but you were suggesting it
I dont think he did and neither did Hughes or anyone else who know more than we do

I think you will find we are building something and something huge...we havent spunked money we have bought the best we could for big prices....and i dont think we ever will anymore

I think it's perfectly understandable and nothing "major" for players to want to have an explanation about why their boss was sacked, it's quite often the managers that get the blame when it's the players fault.

I wasn't suggesting it either, I'm suggesting spending money more wisely, not buying such average players and not paying so much money for them.

I thought Hart could have done just as well at City last season, Birmingham really struck gold with that loan and took advantage.

:D

£24 Million on Lescott is spunking money away. If he's worth that much, it gives hope to me of a move for a few million.

"best for big prices" well thats a matter of opinion, I don't think you've got the best you could get for the money you've spent, seems I'm not alone in this either.

Edit, building? You recently just swapped a better player + money for a worse player, a player who was a product of your youth set up  that's got to be a backwards step?

Well who would you buy then? and we had to pay so much because of our owners and quite frankly paying 20m for Milner isnt going to make them sit back and think about it tbh.
And maybe your right but we werent prepared to take the risk.
Well who should we have bought and yeh your not alone but so far all have you have failed to offer someone better who we should have bought.
and yeh building...youth academies around the world...redeveloping manchester...

So, point out to me where I've "suggested" not spending money?

I've said, several times you could have done better for the money :)

There are plenty of very talented players in the lower depths of the Premier League and aboard, instead of a young up and coming centre back you pick up a past it Arsenal defender for £14 million?

Building for the future with him and Veira?

I'm sure you could have for a start, bought the better English defender at Everton. Lescott is so painfully average.

It's not even just the money they're spending on the players transfer fee wise, they're just about trebling each persons wages.

I cant explain it :p but when i read it it seemed you were...
suggest people then...
Instead of Silva...
Instead of Toure
etc etc
No building for the future with Johnson,Boateng,Kompany,Kolarov,Henshall,Silva
Oh have we not devloped the english game? SWP,Richards,Hart,Improving Johnson...
Who do you support?
plus the youngsters in u21 etc and yeh we do want them because you dont know who you might find...should we stick to scouring Leeds,London etc and miss out on a Kaka etc because thats what all the top clubs do :/

I normally associate 'building the future' as youngsters, Wilshere's age etc. Not 24 year olds.

Well, you had Ireland to play an attacking type midfield role, but you signed Silva. You already have De Jong/Kompany/Viera etc for a defensive type midfielder, how boring it'll be playing like three holding midfielders.

Also don't even mention SWP as developing the English game, jeez. The only thing City have developed in with Richards is his addiction to anabolic steroids.

Not building for the future with Lescott, Veira, Toure, Ade, Santa et all.

I agree with Syke, 24 isn't a "young" player these days.

You can't explain it because it wasn't happening.

No, I've already picked out players such as Silva and Y Toure as some of your better buys, we aren't talking about those, but okay if you want to be anal.

I'm talking about the Ade, Santa, Lescott, Boateng, Veira, Barry, Milner as all being average and costing a lot of money.

Lukaka? spelling, young lad getting a reputation around Europe, TBH you could have just had your pick of young up and coming FM stars :p

Barry - Parker is better in that role TBH.

Lescott - well he wasn't even the best English defender at the club you got him from

Nobody is saying don't spend money, people are staying don't ***** money away on average players.

Look Tummy you keep saying we bought average players but havent given me one player we should have bought...
Lukaka is getting a reputation partly due to him being good on FM.
Park is how old?
Yeh he wasnt/isnt but at the time he was? and wanted to join.
Well what players do you want us to buy? yiou have suggested a unknown 17yr old so far

No, go listen to World Football shows and read reports and watch football from elsewhere. He as with other young players are getting very good reputations for themselves :)

I'm saying you bought average players because you have  why should I give you a list of players to buy?

Parker * and he's probably younger then Veira ;) :p

No, not at any point was Lescott the best defender at Everton. No.

I want you to continue buying average players for lots of money, you can have any of the Sheffield Wednesday team for 20 million if you like :p

Right so if we have signed average then name someone whos better? Lukaka is unproven and yeh maybe your right about Parker but oh well
Right ok then so when Jagielka was injured for 8months Lescott wasnt good?
