Unless Mancini realises sooner than later that 3 defensive midfielders is too negative against the smaller teams (Ok it clearly worked against Liverpool), I don't see City getting Top 4. De Jong is pretty redundant when City have the ball for long periods, you only need him in the team if you are chasing a team for possession.
Personal insults...nice going. You have a bench full of players who aren't happy sitting on there. Managerless = No manager. Ofcourse there are managers out there, finding one isn't exactly an overnight decision.
I would say "nailed on" implies near-certainty personally, regardless of whether you preface is with "pretty" or not. But hey, if you say that's not what you meant, I'll take your word for it.

Right so every team has a happy bench? its good to have players complaining really because then when they do play they take there chance eg Viera in Europa and Richards in pre season...and yeh it isnt to find a manager but if the board is going to sack Mancini they get someone lined up for when they do sack him

It isnt a joke you make one post claiming we wont get top 4,wont have a manager,and have a unhappy team instead of saying something constructive like K1llSW1TCH and Tummy for example.

Man City have thrown money everywhere and have a strange-ish looking team, a strange manager who can barely speak English and they try and defend the ball into the goal
I think Spurs will get 4th unless Balotelli is amazing (to be honest, he might well be awful against most EPL teams that play like Stoke and Wigan do).
Especially if VdV does well. I mean, he's better than all the Man City signings this season

Basing your argument on the first few games? Man City have potential to be an awesome team, but they are still going about the whole thing wrong imo. They've had a few seasons now with uber spending, and haven't exactly achieved THAT much.
Time will tell though, I'll be very surprised if they challenge for the title this season anyway, as a lot of people seem to say they will.

As someone who has watched Mancini in charge at both Fiorentina and Inter Milan: I'm not at all convinced he's going to be successful at City from what I've seen so far. Some of his decisions leave me somewhat confused and surprised.
I think we have achieved a lot actually..Went from 10th to 5th in a season...built a good young team which is gelling..had good cup runs in carling cup and were unlucky to get knocked out..and we have created a real hate towards us
I take the criticism Aaron333 when its something useful not like your view...and no Garry Cooke does a bad enough job at that..

I think Spurs are better and will most likely do better, not guaranteed of course.
Its not a competition about signings, we have a better squad of players than you, so don't want to throw 200M down the drain on random half-bads.
Though we should have signed at least one more 'decent' player, but I'm sure we'll manage just fine. You wont.
