You really don't have to respond to every negative thing people say about City, especially since you seem to determined to argue a case every time. It's just going to flood threads and bore everyone else to tears. Just let it go.
If I posted "Tottenham are terrible and I hope they get relegated and Ol' Twitchy goes to jail", I don't expect skippi and Stag to start trying to defend them like I'm making a reasonable point. They'd either ignore me or insult me back, and we move on. It's how banter works.

You hugely underestimate how difficult it is to have a good team, not squad.
Having a good squad wont get you all the way, a good TEAM will.
Just look at Real Madrid for example. (A very extreme example, but they are in the UCL at least

Robbo i havent underestimated it at all...i have said utd have the better team and City have the better squad..and i didnt say it did but thats what were working towards but until all first team players are back its hard to gel.

I agree. I'm wary of saying too much now at the start of the season, in case he proves me wrong, but his substitutions have more than a whiff of Benitez about them, and tactically I don't get where he's coming from at all.

We have recommended plenty of players who were "better" then what you've purchased for silly money, you just chose not to pay attention.
I don't think Mancini is the right man for the job, he's made some very odd decisions and some even odder buys.
