Chill out kidder. I quite like City because they hate the other side, but you're making me dislike them with your attitude (and dislike you too, but you'll say that doesn't matter :))

Open football manager and go manager -> player search -> edit filters -> position is: goalkeeper and Name contains Johnson....


I have another topic; what do we think of Arsenal's failure to sign a keeper?

Do you think we actually did make another bid, this time of £4mil, for Schwarzer on deadline day, as some of the rags reported? And this only failed because Fulham couldn't get Given or Doni on loan in time?

Does this undermine Almunia completely as he knows his manager failingly tried to replace him? And what the **** was Wenger doing leaving it so late and taking such a risk if he doesn't think he's good enough?

I think Arsenal could have done with bringing in another centre back to be honest, and a ball winning midfielder, to help easy the defence.

While I don't think Almunia is good enough, I don't rate the Arsenal defence too highly.

I'd personally have thought Wanger woud of gone for a younger up and coming goal keeper, Adler? Lloris?
 
Gooner no offence but not getting a keeper could cost you, Almunia isnt bad but i hate to see Arsenal lose games because of a stupid mistake....eg Wigan last season

Houllier did well helping set up some of the French youth stuff didn't he?

and yes a defensive midfielder wouldn't have gone amiss either. It's retarded because the money's there, he just hates to spend it.
 
I think Wenger is giving Almunia till Jan to see how he does ie if he drops us points then Wenger will probably try and sign a keeper in Jan....but i fear by then it will be too late.

Personally if i was Wenger i would have gone for Lloris, Steklenburg or Akinfeev. Those would have been my first choices and maybe Given as well.
