I don't think there is much between the top forwards in the World.

I don't tend to create lists.

At the very highest level of the sport, there is a tendency to be a few players whom are all very close in terms of talent.
 
What does Rooney have to do with Chelsea winning the league?

You do watch football? You understand the concept of 11 players on each side?

Chelsea, over the season picked up more points then all the other teams, they were the best side in the league. This wasn't down to *just* Rooney not scoring a few more goals.

It was down to the entire Chelsea side doing very well.

Rooney can be fantastic every season, doesn't mean United will win every season

Rooney is one of the best forwards in the world, he's not quite on the top level (Messi, Villa, Torres etc - imo) but he's right behind those, I'd say he's easily in the Top 10.

thats the point im trying to make, he isnt at the top level, which a lot of people on here think hes the best. he is overated and if he played at a team like athletico madrid (aguero and forlan) i doubt he would be as good as them in that team.

manchester utd makes rooney look a lot better than he is. he's top 25 in my list but nowhere near top 10, unless he proves himself again this season.

all im saying is that he needs another season like his last in order to gain the credibility needed.

He's much better than Aguero but I'd take Forlan over him probably (one of my favourite players world wide), but seriously, he's in the top 10, there aren't 20+ strikers better than Rooney.

You also mentioned he needs more than 1 good season, he has, he hasn't had many high goal scoring seasons but that doesn't mean he hasn't been good, there is more to football than goals!
