Other than being the choice striker in FM2010 I've not heard much about Dzeko tbh but the little I've seen of him hasn't impressed me much.
tbf only the last 2 seasons, I watch most Bundesliga reviews on ESPN and catch a few full games, Europe too obviously. He's not worth 30m. 20m sounds fair though
Csec aint worth 40 million either but you have to pay the inflated prices, I'd say Dzeko is easily worth 30 million in today's market

what makes Dzeko any less flavour of the month than Suerez?
Both players have scored ****** loads in their respective leagues - and no reason why Suerez couldnt be another RvN or Bergkamp - just as likely as being a Kezman or Kuyt (and no I didnt want any of those mentioned at any point)

I wouldnt mind him at Utd, think he would be a good 1st XI player for us, as long as he doesnt expect 100k+ a week or anything like it

i think someone like Elmander could get top scorer out there. unless they are getting 30-40 goals i wouldnt take them as being outstanding.. just good...in a poor league.

That seems to be the thinking of a few in this thread anyway. I don't know enough about him to compare his ability to Dzeko to be honest.
The clause in Dzeko's contract expires on Monday I believe so if he's going anywhere it's gotta be in the next 2 days really.

ya personally im gonna sign graphite for my 7 aside team, i think he scores goals. he is proven in germany, so he must be great. dont know if he is worth the 30million they are asking though?!?!

Top scorer 2 seasons running, second highest scorer in the World Cup qualifiers. The boy has got pedigree!
Suerez never seen him play I'll be honest but it seems that every season there's a new goal scoring sensation in Holland and since RVN they've all flopped see Kezman, Alves, Kuyt, Hunterlaar....
Dunno they broke the Tevez to City deal last summer weeks before anyone else

how does he compare to Grafite 50 in 77 matches over the last 2 years also for wolfsburg?
trust me i have seen these characters play. they arent as good as you'd imagine...true germany is not the scottlish league exactly however the also rans are very much also rans.

To be fair Miroslav Klose was top scorer in 1 world cup and 2nd top scorer in another world cup and has a 1 in 2 goal/game ratio for Germany. I actually think he is a very accomplished striker, though getting on in years now.
