i find the game quite inconsistant

i had roddick beat me 3-1, 3-1 in the Masters final, yet thhe Australian Open semis i beat him 3-0, 3-0, 3-1 :S.

Im not sure i played right for 5 mil yet tho? is that in the 2nd season?

The best way to beat net players is to just keep them at the back of the court using spin shots. If you're not stretching for the ball, use angled top spin shots to the corners to get him on the run, and if you're running yourself, use sliced shots aimed to the back of the court (the middle is best) as it gives you time to get back into position. He'll generally do a slice shot on his approach, so hit it as far wide as you can as he's running in, which should cause him to stretch when he returns it, and you can use that time to bury the shot the other side. It won't work every time, but I've only ever lost one match so it works pretty well

Thanks, Sounds like it works so i'll give it a go. Since beating that brandon wright guy i've been unstoppable. Beat everyone i've played 3-0 3-0.

LOL christ either im crap at this game or its too difficult lol

Keep getting beat by Henman in the exibition matches lol...although im getting slightly better...won a few points but yet to win a set or break his serve

...

Oh well more practise needed, just gets a tad confusing with all these buttons to remember and which button does which shot etc etc.

Cant seem to get any aces with Roddick or Federer.....boy i suck big time...if anyone wants me to some cannon fodder then knock yourself out...just add me

Played some more but this time with the women, played as sharpova or whatever her name is against minsky lol. Still lost big time but i think im learning to play the game...still havent won a bloody set though

This is the most annoying game on earth, stats seem to do nigh on nothing, opponents go randomly from unbeatable to crap. Risk shots/serves are utterly impossible aiming spots are random and even worse i cannot beat a single person on live which is doing my head in.

arg! i just had to stop myself hurling the 360 out the window, threw the cat instead.

Exactly how i felt when i was playing it last night, risk shots are near impossible to play but seems like the computer knows how to play them....i was so close to thrwoing my controller against the wall

Hell i got so fustrated at the game that i felt throwing the xbox and my new 32" lcd screen out the window last night. But i managed to calm and just ended up cursing the game. Funny thing is even though im finding it ever so fustrating...i still like the game :confused:

....go figure eh??

i agree with a lot of what has been said, its just a very inconsitant game.

You can beat the top players easily in some games, then all of a sudden they mop the floor with ya... does get annoying

Ok m8 will do, are u on my friends list already im not sure? btw im not total crap at the game, i won about 2 masters and 1 slam with only bronzes and a coupla silver golds, in fact the only reason i cant win all the tourneys is that every third game in a tourney my guy turns invisible, well except for the hair which bobs around the court like some possessed wig thing. Let me tell u playing tennis with an invisible dude is a nightmare!
