Can they resolve addresses?Checked, the client machines all are pointing to the right DNS. Even a complete reboot of everything still no joy
(is the pihole responding correctly?)

Saw that the UDR has come into stock in the EU store.
Does this mean it could become available in the UK? I was under the impression it was being discontinued.
Was going to get an express but, the UDR would be great and I’m only on 200mb fibre so wouldn’t hit its enforced max speeds.
It ends up being about 10% more expensive I found.Order one from the EU store and buy the appropriate UK cable when it arrives. From memory it’s a standard 2-pin IEC-C7 figure of 8 cable.
I have 2 of them along with 48port poe switch. Signal is good and works fine on phone and tv but my older mac works for 30 seconds then cannot send any traffic even ping but shows connected.Anyone have any real world experiences yet with the U7 Pro? Really debating going for one, bit of an itch...
Ooooh. If anyone is considering a UNVR or UNVR Pro, other either from UI's UK store and you get a "Free" G4 bullet or G4 Bullet pro camera in a current special offer.

Are the clients and PiHole on the same network segment/VLAN? If not, have you got traffic rules allowing DNS through to the PiHole?
I use one PiHole for the both the primary network and network my kid's devices are on, but that's working between VLANs.
You haven't really given enough info for anyone to be able to offer you any proper help.I rebuilt the pi-hole. Looks like something on the Dream Machine is blocking it.
Trying to find out how to config it to be unblocked.
I worked out it's an firewall issue, as the pi hole has Internet access so I need see what ports/traffic is being blocked. You haven't really given enough info for anyone to be able to offer you any proper help.
It's a 5V, 3A, 15W USB-C power supply. Even though I ordered from a UK seller (not direct from the ui store) they sent an EU version, with no adaptor, and no mention on their site that they were not shipping a UK plug or adaptor. From the UK store? Interested to know the PSU they ship, I know it's a glorified Raspberry PI PSU etc.

UXG-Lite in and running - that was disappointingly painless
I use the default internal range (192.168.1.0/24) for my main LAN which simplified things.
Step 1: Unadopt the USG
Step 2: Walk downstairs, plug UXG power in, move network cables from USG to UXG
Step 3: Walk upstairs, note that my unifi console has already detected the UXG
Step 4: Adopt UXG
Step 5: Update UXG
Step 6: Turn on all the IPS stuff
Step 7: ???
Love it when stuff just WORKS.
Are you sure you are on a ubiquiti system?
Probably nothing. But, cool factor? So other than running IPS/IDS (which is pointless in this age of HTTPS) at full line speed exactly what more does it do than the USG that was launched at the end of 2015?
Don’t worry, he hasn’t done a firmware update in a while because was running a USG. He’ll be back soon enough when he has to do multiple hard resets to get the update to stick
