Just to prove how utterly dominant the 3.7BR typhoon is:

Pah, Stalin laughs in the face of your Typhoon and offers instead the mighty LA-5F! :D :p

I do however, appear to have taken a round in my right wing. Terribly disappointed by that...

I'm not gonna reveal tactics for that but someone head to heading can always be defeated, easily, because a lot on the time they're a one trick pony trying to use that centerline firepower

I would call it that any one of the WT regulars can take a head to head 3.7 and down it after a turn battle.

Remember that duel night Brain????

Me remembering 2Vs2 Duel Night.

Lovely screenies^^

Gave sim planes a go, how any of you play this without trackir is beyond me, might give it another go with the oculus later and see if that helps but was struggling with the view controls while fighting.

Dunno why but theres no control flutter either so I didn't know when a stall was coming up, just kind of catches you out!

Also whats the deal with only being able to play certain countries, wanted to fly spits but instead had to make do with getting shot down by jap reserve planes

Unfortunately sim battles have been nation locked/rotated for some time now because queue times were too long. Theyre a lot better at changing them around of late though (bout once a week).

In regards to view controls, I find having the x/y view axis set to a hatswitch and making sure its relative (ie it doesnt spring back to the center when you let go) work very well.

That said, would still give my left testacle for a rift (thinking about it I may have already said that on here before...)

Yeah ive got the hat set, tbh I would prefer if it did snap back to center as I felt quite a bit of the time i was trying to reset it rather than concentrate

The rift in sim test flight is amazing and really does work, but as ive said before the res isn't high enough to dogfight with properly, might have another go though.

I think we all should have a go at teamworking in tank battles.
Theres a lot of going off on our own, or getting distracted. But the key seems to be us all sticking together in a group and working together.
I know this, becuase occasionally it happens
