The British are coming, The British are coming!

...Dunno when, they won't say, other than a very badly translated "Already this year!", which I think means ALL READY THIS YEAR. Someone used Google Translate, didn't they, silly Russians?!

3 tanks to wet your whistle. The Churchill, the Comet and the Centurion.

The bad news is, derp-tastic pre-war designers really liked flat surfaces, like morons.
Except on the Centurion, which gave me a lob on. That, and its gun is based on the 88mm German design. But better.
And with Sabots. Oh god, how I've longed for Sabots...

Oohhh my they are putting the Centurion in with sabot rounds ...that should prove useful for opening some of the heavier tins rolling around.

The only sabot round in the game at the moment, used by the Walker Buldog has great penetration and destructive capability, I don't see why the Centurion shouldn't aswell.

Can anyone clue me in on why i have all these research points but i'm not able to use them? can;t move the slider at all. Presumably these are tied to the gold eagles so another money grab?

yea, you have all that 'free' xp but it costs you real money (golden eagles) to convert. it's a scam really so just ignore it

Thought so, ive aload of those points to use as well. :(

Does upgrading your crew make much difference to the tanks? Only done slight upgrades for the training thing but i'm doubting it makes much difference at all.

Yup I think so, I've got Ace on my Panther D and its a complete killing machine. Most notably for me the increase in crew skill makes driving much more responsive. When upgrading crew for tanks I always go for gunner and loader vitality first :)

Pretty enjoyable game just irritating having to unlock the same things over and over, you'd think you would have to unlock them for a tank and it also unlocks for its variants.

It does make a difference, yep - once you've got a few crew points in improving your loaders ability, you get to fire quicker... what's not to like? ;)

What I tend to aim for is increase the crew members' vitality, driver, gunner and loader being the most important early on. Also put some points in the gunners' skills, until it becomes relatively expensive per point. What you're aiming to do is to get your overall crew skill up to the point where you can 'Expert' the crew using Silver Lions, which gives you a few decent 'boosts' effectively for free. (+30 to various skills)

Once you've done that, just spend crew points on whatever seems to work for you - If you're missing with your shots, get more into gunner skills. If your crew keep dying if they get so much as tickled, moar vitality comrade! :p

Also - For tanks, I recommend only using the first 3 crew slots in your lineup. That way, the crew points you accumulate all pile into just these 3 slots, rather than being spread out all over the place. You can only use 3 tanks in a battle anyway, so there's nothing to be gained from having loads of crew slots in use.

The Brits are going to have the best line-up for Tank RB. Some fun tanks combined with the best ground attack aircraft tree of all the nations. Firefly, Mossie, Hurricane IV, Typhoon, Beau ....

The ww2 tanks should be a laugh, the Churchill was basically designed on the assumption that ww2 would be a lot of trench fighting, hence the weird track arrangement with them being longer to bridge trenches. If they bring in the black price it should be decent, besides that its a rolling tin can with a peashooter.

Once British tanks arrive, Spangles shall play tanks. Until that day! I shall barely play them.

I love playing British planes, enjoy playing US planes, but not their tanks. Cant be Russian 'cos that's just cheating, and Germans...well...as cool as they might be, they were the bad guys!

I have about 3 months of premium account left... which means that British tanks will appear in approximately 3 months and 2 days!

On a side note, my IL-4 got shot down. I believe "Revenge" is the word! :D
