No idea what you mean....

No idea what you mean....
FLOATS!!!!11!!111!
Just had a go on this after about 6 months off 'sim' battles. Broken controls with joystick, button 5 now brings up menu (tried the fix). Tank was invisible. BR still broken as hell. Arcade maps still in rotation in sim battles.
GG War Thunder.
Only regret a couple of them, the SU122P has helped me with high tier grinds massively, definitely my best purchase.
The xp-50 however I haven't flown since the day they put it up to BR 4.7, still angry about that
I've been tempted by that premium T34-100
Soon my pretty...
This is the problem lol.
Still cant get over the fact that I shot down one of the forum admins in a Boomerang Mk1 and he banned me (for 1 year) for having 88 in my name.......After playing the game for 2 3/4 years beforehand.
'Apparently' it signifies Heil Hitler, bit of a stretch there. Never even knew that before.....No problem with communism propaganda 'for Stalin'.
To put the icing on the cake is the company name 'gaijin' which is a racial slur.
This game had such great potential but the top people who make the decisions are off their heads.
* rant over *
Because the eighth letter of the alphabet is h they concluded 88 means heil hitler? Bit of a stretch?
Getting into it more but some aspects seem to be a bit of a grind, having to buy essentially the same upgrades over and over for the same tank but slightly different variants, ie: panzer 4 c and e. You'd think they would just carry over since they're just a slightly different version of the same tank. Suppose thats where they try and get you to buy the eagles to skip through those sections.
Got it in one!
I think the main reason for the minor variation in German early tanks is mostly because at that time, Germany did have very few tank variants - that was the whole idea, to have the Pz3 as the anti-armour tank, and the Pz4 as the infantry support tank.
Somewhere along the way, they realised the Pz3 couldn't handle anything bigger than a 50mm gun, so they ended up switching roles, and using the Pz3 much longer than they would have liked. Along with that came 'improvements' to the Pz4 which created 10 different major combat variants, all of which were slightly different and needed slightly different parts etc - massive logistical nightmare!
Without the minor variants in game, you'd have a very empty list of low tier German tanks.
It's a blessing, and a curse. The original aim of war thunder was to have combined arms battles. It's a fudge that they keep messing with, and it doesn't sit 'right'. I was once afk for 2/3 of a battle, came back and I had enough points to spawn an attacker.Don't really "get" the planes suicide dive bombing just to plonk a bomb next to you, you think you've survived some nutjob and a few seconds later you get annihilated by a random bomb. Seems a bit of a cheesy way to get kills.
How does that even work?
Learns to drives better? The trees can be annoying, but I find they do the most damage to fast-moving, thinly armoured tanks. The bigger up the tanks you get, the less you care about trees. Some oddness in the damage model, sometimes you can charge through trees with no ill effects, then you get a tree that looks exactly the same that knocks your driver out and damages suspension etc. Been caught up in some scenery as well which made me a sitting duck .
They turned off 'friendly fire' for the main gun in Arcade mode tanks a little while back. Whilst mostly frustrating, the OcUK crew did occasionally meter out punishment for deliberate TK'ing, and much enjoyment was had!Seeing the odd random idiot in spawn damaging team mates as well firing in front of them as they're moving along =/
