Yeah it looked very slick and polished before but looks rougher and blander now, shame to downgrade such a lush looking game.

Well, I'm gonna call it... that update 1.55 is going to be coming out on Wednesday the 16th December, and it's going to be called "Tea Party" in honour of the Boston Tea Party of the 16th December 1773.

And it will contain proper British tanks this time, ones that we can research...

Although their marketing/sales is pretty questionable, their technical release side of things isn't too bad - from an IT angle, Wednesday is the best day to release anything, as it gives you time to patch it up a bit before the weekend, where I reckon they're hoping to sell a load of premium tanks / time.

Let us wait and see :)
 
I hope so matt, my Achilles is earning all this potential exp that is just getting pooled into the bonus exp section currently. The sooner they add a proper tree, the sooner I can start earning something meaningful with it :)

Going by the rate of devblogs they are deffinately building up to something this side of Christmas in my opinion.
 
yeah thats prob an accurate guess matt i reckon, means theyll prob start the xmas grinding even the same day, 3 weeks of events taking them over to the 6th jan
 
save the egg face matt, theyve already said it will start earlier than the 19th, its only the even that starts on the 19th.

Patch drops earlier, if you were a mug and paid them big dollar to play brit tanks earlier you get to be in the CBT.
 
Well, wrong footed by 1 day ;)

I don't think it's a "mug" thing, I just think that some of us longer-term players feel a bit aggrieved that the pricing structure has gone up, and that they've now got a premium currency that you can use to buy things, yet you also have to dump extra money into the game, even if you have a stack of GE's, to buy anything Brit tank related.

Still, patrioticness is tempting me to purchase the cheapest Brit tank to get into the CBT, either that or I'm going to be driving my NbFz and prioritising murdering British tanks! :D

Oh.... and let the tanking begin!

Sorry but theyve done it on purpose to get people to pay out for the privilege of playing them.

1.53 dropped and they went 'heres the brit tanks!. But only if you pay. By the way its 80eur if you want all four'

Now the rental scheme.

Now another patch that theyve hyped the hell out of and surprise surprise, if you want any enjoyment out of it you either have to spend your christmas grinding or pay up.

Since I've decided not to put any more cash into the game it has offered me nothing. Even my 5 months of premium time is useless as at tier 5 tanks only cash will unlock stuff in a reasonable time.

There's nothing forcing you to buy your way into Brit tanks, it even says clearly which ones are available to everyone this patch:

What do you expect? Isn't the rental scheme you cited specifically aimed at giving you something without paying for it?
