Eugh, was really happy with the RP reduction from the last patch until I started unlocking planes I can't afford to buy.....currently have 700K lions worth of planes to unlock and only 500K to spend. The most annoying this is they are all 4.3+ BR when everything I fly at the moment is 3.0-3.7...

Can anyone tell me if flying the P63A-10 (4.3 BR) and the P63C-5 (4.7 BR) will pit me against T4 planes? (FYI I mean in arcade).

Currently doing really well in most battles with my P47's and P63A-5, so don't want to go and get stomped.

Got my old HD5770 back temporarily and WT seems to run nicely at 100fps at medium settings. I can even play BF4 at low settings ok :)

The 7850 is on it's way for RMA, so let's see what happens :)
 
I know they've fixed plane squads but can you squad up in tanks at the minute? Starting to set of enjoy tanks but Christ it's unforgiving, I clipped the side of a tree at it stopped my tank in its tracks, had to start and repair. Bloody stupid interactive terrain!:p

I'm guessing it is because squads being buggered affects both, so if its working for planes it should be for tanks too, it was the other night iirc.

You havent lived until youve clipped a rock and rolled your tank on its roof.... :o

Don't think about tiers any more, it's a pointless system now which has very little meaning.

If you bring a 4.7 and a 4.3 it'll take whatever else you have next in BR, say 3.7, and average that out, do some convoluted maths and then randomly dump you into a battle either a bit higher, even, or slightly lower than your BR's average value.

So you could end up against several FW190 A8's or worse, with your P63's, which I find only works as a bomber-killer these days :(

If possible, try and leave the 4.7 BR P63 out of your lineup, and that might pit you against some more average opponents based around your other planes.

To be fair, Gaijin are trying to make this BR system work better. I've no idea why they implemented it though, because they had a beautifully working, simple system before of 20 tiers! :confused:

+1 to this. Tiers mean very little now never mind BR's. Was in a game night before last flying my BR 5.7 tempest and lo and behold a H6K appeared in my sights. And if I recall rightly this was the guys highest ranked plane! Imagine how pee'd off he was!

I think it's even more convoluted than that, so that you'll end up a minimum of perhaps 1 BR or so lower than your highest plane

Oooooh, me!

Although my excursions out in tanks these days mostly involved me getting killed a lot, then killed some more.
Had a game a few days ago where I wasted 4 tanks trying to kill a guy who was camping outside our spawn. I never did manage it, he got me EVERY time. Coz I suck.
So practice is needed.

Coolio. I'm still only rocking pretty low level tanks so hope that's ok.

We shall go a tanking hand in hand......again much innuendo!
