******Official War Thunder Thread*******

From 8th of May till 11th of May you can get a “Victory Banner” unique decal and access to Ground Forces CBT!
Just make 60 kills and 9 victories in 4 days and it is yours.

Righto chaps, let's roll some BR 2.0 russians for the 60 kills, at around 10~12 per match... and if we're still short on a few victories we can H6K it OcUK style! :D

Fingers crossed I can do it. Got stuff to do Saturday but Friday I may be okay. Moving house this week at some point so have to see how that all goes :/

Friday is usually the only night of the weekend I can get on too. I reckon a 2 or 3 hour session tomorrow night will be plenty of time tho, considering I've about 15 kills and 2 wins already. Been a poor night :(

I'm attending a social event tonight (I think they call it a "Birthday Party", but I've never heard of such things before), so will not likely be able to get online until 11pm or later. It is highly likely that I will also have consumed a large amount of "Magical War Thunder Ace-making Juice". So to it will all be about seal clubbing while I'm good!
See you all later.

Quick Q for you all

Currently urm 'rocking' the following

e5500, 4gb ram, gtx 660.

1 - Could this play WT to any degree?
2 - Whats it like playing with keyboard and mouse?

I ask cause I'm thinking about giving it a go?

Should run fine I would think.

Arcade and Historical battles are almost made for mouse and keyboard and that is what nearly all of us play with so that should not hold you back at all. Only when you go to play the simulator battles you need the joystick.

Will be a group of us on tonight, with beer and radio Boycey, you more than welcome to join us :) We don't mind dropping down to low levels to help you out if you want to squad up, but obviously the best thing is probably play a few hours by yourself to get the hang of everything.

I've not downloaded it yet - but It'd be great to get some advice and chat for sure

I'll download it tonight I think, give it a try out see if it runs reasonably.

It'll prob take a good 3-4 hours on my net to download @ best (Sky unlimited non fibre :( ) 5 mb sucks

Now to get it to a publishing company.

Welcome and don't forget to let us know your ingame name and apply to the squadron when you get it downloaded. You will not believe the fun that can be had with a group of fellow 'ACE' pilots!

I best warn you though, some of the language can be colourful, but being a very sensible chap myself I always try and get lads to remain cool under pressure:p

Here was the close call when my spitfire's wing hit a ki 84. I was lucky that it got back up on its feet.

Sorry for the video quality dont go full screen because it gets worse i recorded it using Spangles's software (Flaps V1.0)

Skip to 30 seconds for showdown.
