To the new guys:

A random google search for the Russian plane tree to check something turned up this guide, which seems fairly clear and current:

Played quite a few AB matches now and I think I'm getting the hang of it. Started off with the RAF, think I'll work my way through that. Do find I'm having more fun with fighters then bombing, maybe cos the Blenheim seems naff. Got a few level 2 planes that I'm using, Typoon Mk. IB, D.520 and Hurricane Mk. IIB (crews are near enough maxed) need to refine my strategy though as I have found it different to fighting with and against biplanes. Practice makes better I'm sure after a few hours I'll be able to handle it.

SteveFleming is my in game name, if I could be added to the clan / squadron what ever you fancy calling it.

Just do a search in the squadron list for OcUK and click apply and we'll accept you. Don't think we can add you to the squad unless you apply first in game. For bombing get you Japanese h6k and join us on our Friday night jollies. I promise much fun, much much fun!!

not tried the blenhiem yet but the beaufort (the one above it) really surprised me when i took it out the other day, was much better than i expected. The twin 50s in the might quite light work of all the low tier planes sitting on your tail.

Then again my gunner crews are almost maxed now so y.m.m.v.

BR and repair cost changes

Interesting that they lowered the lower tier wellies BR but ignored the mkX and the lanc, now the mkX and identical mkIII have an even bigger gulf between them...

edit: the mighty H6K got a BR increase as well

Yep, just had a look. The H6K4, our baby with the bad attitude, has been bumped up to BR 2.3 from its 2.0 original place *single tear rolls down cheek* No more uber seal clubbing

The A7HE1 is now BR 2.7 instead of 2.3 (I don't think that's fair, as it doesn't turn well enough to be at that level).
Interestingly the KI-43 has been LOWERED to 1.7 from 2.0, and is part of a mass reduction in BR for all of the Japanese A6MX series.

And, winning on the board of "best decisions ever" is their increase of the ME 163b, BR from 7.0 to 8.0! Hopefully I'll be able to have a few jet battles in sodding peace now

And the yank tree is getting many of it's very-decent 3.3 BR planes turned into 3.7, which is about time. There is no way that the P39's were fair at 3.3.

We have some new planes:
All of the new Russians may be interesting to fly (IL10 with new engine, Mig3 with new engine, I-185 with new engine). The Brits get MORE Griffon-engined Spits, including a new premium version (Dunno why... I would like some better Hurricanes) and the Germans get 2x Me262 variants, including one with a hybrid Jet / Pulsejet (as found on their V1 flying bombs) to increase all engine performance.
But the Yanks get the PBJ-1 in 2 variants... I had to look this up, and it turns out it is a naval version of the B25. At first I thought it was an early generation with less armament, but apparently its packing TONS more guns!
