Thanks for pointing out that code. I play tanks but fairly casually, usually just when a couple of friends can jump on for a platoon game :)

using yopmail, the codes never came through, but i used some of my kids emails and got the codes and they were accepted.
now i am a little worried i may have done it too much. i dont want my account to be banned :eek:

I can get the codes, but the when I enter the codes to my account, they're invaid :(.

Wish I didn't sell my t172 now

Good, gives us time to grind xp for IS from KV3 so I can avoid KV1S :)

One thing I really think would work great for this is pay&tank ;) premium...
I won't be paying for wasted time which normally is when I sleep and work ;) Greedy devs ;)

You lazy git :D, its a free slot - well worth a little bit of faffing around. I did the t-127 a couple of times and ended up with a free slot, a day or two extra for premium and a reasonable tier 3 light tank which seems to be the type 59 for its class.

yep. currently 20k away from the is4. is3 has been fun but without the bl9 it is a pretty bad tank. i'll be stopping at the is4 and looking forward to my new object when the patch hits.

french tanks will be interesting.
 
Obvisouly french tanks are designed to run away, hence their thickest armour is at the rear! (You're probably seeing a theme here, the French ruined L4D2 for me by raging hard!)

Lol. I see this theme.

I'm loving the IS4 atm, gotta get 40K over the next couple of days to upgrade both the tracks and the engine, then it's time to head for the is7.

Then I'll start on the T54 line. (From the T34-85, which is where I got to on the meds before I decided I wanted to go heavy.)
 
Some advice....check out the official WoT EU forum, there is a good section there for newcomers with loads of useful posts.

Stick together with other tanks....never go solo.
USSR trees...esp heavy...are supposed to be the 'easiest'
Although the game is free to play you really need to invest some money into it to reduce the grind.
 
anyone thinking of giving this a shot i can hearily recommend World of tanks :) brilliant game that i would happily have parted with money for(unusual with a tight scotsman and all) but it really is that good, even better that you get it for free :)

ocuk has a good active online crew in this and they have helped me get settled in the last couple of days so if anyones looking for a new game to give a go of I can heartily recommend giving this a try
 
Right, just played some Tank Company and it's really good fun. With a good leader and good players at least you stand a better than average chance of winning and now they've limited the tiers it's really good.

We need to organise a night when we're all on and build up a company, get in mumble and start owning some fools! :)

In other news, I now have my IS-4 (and bought) and research on the IS-7 complete (just need 3million silver :O) so thanks to the 5x XP week i've really shot up the ranks.
