E50s must have been half price over the weekend or something :)

Thought I try the French line. Don't think I've ever driven anything as bad as the AMX 40. It says in the stats it goes 50kph, I'm guessing that must be a misprint or something, fastest I've got it to go with the best engine is low 20's.

No it is quite true. 50 is the maximum possible speed the tracks can reach. The maximum the engine can go up to isn't even half that. You need a pretty steep hill to reach that speed.

Damn thats a LOT of E-50s. According to WoT.eu the special was just a random selection of tanks at 50%. E-50 wasn't one of em.

You have to remember, the figures quoted in the stats page for any tank/module is theoritical maximum. That is, with 100% crew, best tracks/modules, ventilation equipment and premium consumables - i.e. chocolate, coca-cola etc. They are changing this for 7.2 where the stats will tell you what you are going to get based on your tanks current set up.

For example, I have 100% crew on my AMX 50B, the reload time with 100% crew and ventilation equipment is 27 seconds, with the Strong Coffee premium consumable attached it comes down to the maximium which is 25 seconds.

Reinstalling this after giving it a break and not going back to it. I remember having a lot of fun with it, although constantly being put up against everything that can one shot me in my Panzer IV was annoying as all hell! I quite liked the Marder II, though.

Would be good to jump into some games with a few of you again :D

Its not just that. The top speed is the absolute maximum the tracks can handle. It gives no indication on the top speed the engine can actually accelerate to on flat terrain. AMX 40 barely reaches 20 on flat terrain but if you go down a steep slope it can reach around 50 which does look totally stupid given how slow it normally moves.

that tank is just silly! :P and nice trolling at the end to keep the lowe distracted and spotted :)

it's a very bi-polar tank, it is either glorious wins or complete failure with it, with little middle ground.

and i had actually ran out of ammo at the end so all i could do was keep him spotted for the arty :)

Agree with this comment. Used correctly it can be awesome - you can't really go toe-to-toe with an enemy tank without taking a fair amount of damage as the armour is so weak, chances are you'll kill whatever it is your shooting at as you can probably squeeze off 6 shots to their two and at 300-400 damage per hit thats a serious amount of damage you can deal (as long as you don't get no damage crits, bounces etc!).

I usually find as soon as you're spotted, you get every man and his tank owning dog chasing you down, hence it can live for very short periods of time.

The gun is accurate too, its a capable sniper given a good shooting spot but I find it's quick enough to do the circle and fire routine as the enemy tank can't normally turn its turret fast enough. Hit and run is where its at :)

Get two or three together in the same platoon and they can be unstoppable, IS7s, E100s or even MAUS don't stand a chance if they find themselves alone with a couple of Batchats.

maybe something like the logo at the top of the page but with the overclockers uk shortened to OCUK under the blue and red swoosh ?

or maybe oven OC then UK under it in big letters so it may be readable as i guess it will be fairly small and square ?

I'm giving up on PagdPz IV, 150 battles is just too long in that thing. Sold it to fund VK3601H which I already had researched and what a goddamn pleasure to use that is. The gun is practically same albeit slower firing but bearing in mind that I can now take a hit, move my tank around corners, ram things turned the whole game around for me. The small Konisch (sp?) gun looks ridiculously good with gold ammo too, but doubt I would buy that.

Hi ocuk-guys,
i´m the new one in your wot-clan, Pantherophis.
I drive since beta and played there around 5k matches + about 6k since release,
but i´m a bloody noob with these clan and company things, this is my first wot-clan.

I think we will have some fun together.
In my garage i have 10 tanks, in most tier lvls something, maybe we can start something funny :D

Had a good game in the Bat earlier, basically on Sand River I had to keep dashing from side to side to mop up any forces pushing through. Was a good battle and I love the BatChat! :) ... and yes, I too ran out of ammo at the end.

Started playing for the first time since Beta, way back when! Its certainly coming along, though I'm sticking with what I know - Russian and German tanks :D

Going along the TD path for both of them, though what're the USA TD's like? Couldn't find a ton of info. From what I remember, the Russian ones hit extremely hard, but fired slow, while the Germans fired quickly and accurately.

For tanks I'm aiming for the KV with the insane 152mm cannon because that was the most fun I ever had in Beta, and I'm working towards the Maus because I'd like one of the T10s, and it seemed the best choice at the time. How much of a mistake was this? :D
