Its a well known fact artillery have some sort of twisted logic that determines you are the first target no matter what tank you're in. If you're the highest tier tank, you're the prime target. If you're the lowest tier tank, you're an easy kill. If you're a fast tank, you're the biggest threat to the arty. If you're a slow tank, you're easy to predict. Anything in the middle you just happened to be there or that just happened to be where the arty was pointing. If you're moving the fastest and randomly changing directions, you're a lesson in the bs of random deviation.

As for people going out of there way to kill you because of your clan tag. That can quite easily make your team win the round if someone is saving his shots to get another pop at you.
 
fast moving and changing direction tanks are hard for arty to hit but a good challenge and satisfying when you do destroy.

to be honest opposing arty as soon as they appear and are in range I hit first over everything else other than that I choose targets being attacked or to get someone out of a hole.

But then I'm nice guy arty. Unless its a one-on-one cos my team is **** then I try and get a BOOM one shot kill to unsuspecting tanks who think I am an easy target.

Also is it just me or are there a lot more noobs on recently, or should I say experienced noobs.

Couple times last night in battles one flank was completely unguarded and the opposition just stormed through despite me flagging up the obvious issue (I was t4 arty).

In one battle there was a T4 (I think) M5 70% keeping at bay a Churchill and K-1 both at 100%. They just would not move the M5 was just sat there hiding behind a rock sniping and both t5's wouldnt move. Not firing or anything just going backwards and forwards. They were holding up the whole middle sector because of it (cant remember map the one with beach down left hand side).

They could have easily got it in a pincer movement.

If it wasnt so ludicrous it would have been funny!

Finally what I have also found annoying lately is on Assault or Encounter two or three tanks staying at <1> and 'defending' even when they are attacking on Assault !

Still love the game tho.

that is a major flaw in my game, at the start of a battle, i watch to see where every tank goes, and quite often, 1 flank will be empty.
i will ping the map and team text and be completely ignored.:(
so being a brave but stupid team player, i will then go and try and plug the gap, but obviuosly get splattered by a group while the rest of my team mates are either base camping or rushing the other flank, for then all of them to stop and play peek-aboo with 1 or 2 TD's defending their base.
and then they wonder why we lose? :rolleyes:
but now and again u do get a good team, where everyone knows their role, and then it can be just brilliant. dont even mind losing those games if against a better team as its usually a very close battle

been on that every night :) i have been on the ts3 server that they have listed on the forums.

we were practising for the death racing most of the last few nights so mostly been in training rooms so maybe that is why you haven't seen me, will be on tomorrow from about 7.30 and will pop into mumble first :)

ah will check the forums im guess its under the hidden "Close beta section" I unlock few more planes saving up for the flying saucer

Can't seem to get it to run.

Q: My application won's startup and give me a error. What can I do? (App giving the following error message "Problem Event Name: CLR20r3")
A: Possible causes can be that when you installed the app the security on the pc didn't allow the folder creation in the application folder.

Check the if the following file exists. "%appdata%\WOT Statistics\User.xml". If this file doesn't exists, create the folder. Then from the installation folder copy the users.xml file into the folder. Also create a new folder within and call it "Temp".

Should the "%appdata%\WOT Statistics\User.xml" file exists please run the "WOTStats.Reset.exe" file from the installation folder to reset the user.xml file, as the user.xml file could have been corrupted/.

Can't believe I didn't take up premium sooner, the double xp is making the grind so much quicker (obviously) :p

I only paid for 1 month, but I should be able to see myself at least into a t7 by the time it runs out (currently 7k off t6).

Currently having fun in the AMX 13 75 and grinding towards the 13 90 , bit worried about them getting bumped up a tier though

Its 150% exp and credits not double.

I'm finding the Lorraine totally outmatched in almost any 1v1 situation at the moment, probably because of the stock engine but it struggles to penetrate basically everything from the front. You just can't kill anything of your tier without having to go reload (because of zero damage penetrations caused by your awful aiming time) so moving up a tier isn't gonna be any easier. 90 was an excellent tank with its high speed and smaller profile so it might at least be able to cope with becoming T8. The AMX 12t and 13 75 are gonna be horribly outmatched once they go up a tier. They may have a quick reload time but they won't be able to take on anything there own tier at full hp.

The French tanks are very situational I find. 1 on 1 I can normally take on an IS3/Tiger II/T32 etc quite easily - just circle strafe and fire into the sides and back. You can do serious amounts of damage then retreat to reload. The AMX 50B tends to be the focus of every tank when I drive it - so not being on the front line helps a lot, although the mindless plebbs start mouthing off about being a noob T10 driver! :rolleyes:

Sitting back in cover, and sniping is where this tank is at, although I'm sure since 7.4 they've reduced the accuracy. Also zero pen damage shots are the bane of a 50B drivers existance at the moment. Firing 4 shots and only having 2 of them doing any damage is a serious game killer, in fact I've had all 4 shots do 0 damage once - not good considering you have a ~28 second reload - essentially an IS4 can fire 3 times in that time @ ~400 damage a time and then kill you while you're unloading your next clip - they've seriously screwed something up in the 0 damage pen stakes.

I tend only to do a double on it then leave it alone for this very reason which is a shame as I quite like the speed.

The Batchat 25t again can be hit and miss - you tend to find players prioritising you over anything else and can die very quickly. They'll often ignore other higher value tanks and hold their shots for you. You can get great games but then some really bad ones if you get tracked twice then destoyed quickly.

I never bothered with the Lorraine as I'd heard bad things about it so skipped it with free xp to the Bat. However, I bought one on offer yesterday as if I sell it when it becomes T9 I will earn about 350k! :D

Oh right, still awesome :p

I haven't had an issue really with credits yet (before prem) but the increase is fantastic as well. Helps fund my multitude of different tanks!
