** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

Agreed, it wont be the last just look at other MMO's and how they continue to churn expacs out for much older games. They are already working on another MMO too, its just in its 3rd iteration as they keep scrapping it.

Warcraft 4 in a few years?? No chance.

Lol you're delusional if you think its the last.

Fine, but I hereby reserve the right to mock and use the phrase "told you so" if it does happen. ;)

Going from having 7m active subs to saying this next expansion is the last expansion makes zero business sense. Blizzard are slightly more business savvy than that.

I'm not saying they're going to just turn WoW off completely - I just think it's the last expansion for WoW in it's current incarnation and that there will be some kind of sequel (starting again from level 1), followed by expansions for that.

Well lets hope they will finally learn how to balance PvP in the next expansion, I realise it's not easy but they've had enough time and practice yet mess it up every single time.

i doubt it, the massive success of wow is largely down to the fact that it can run on pretty much anything. If they suddenly started increasing the system requirements that would be at the risk of losing more players.

Personally i think the game still looks great, it was never meant to be a graphical powerhouse. It has some of the prettiest locations in gaming, art direction is amazing and the sheer amount of content they pump out puts most games to shame.

They will never be able to balance it so long as PvE & PvP has no differentiation in terms of how the skills work.

i wish wow would die so i'd stop subbing to it lol

i sub thinking it will be good after a break, an hour later im kicking myself thinking why did i bother. a week later and im sat there levelling some alt because i can't be bothered to play my main, even though i know i'll be bored i still log in. it's eating my life away lol.

i sometimes think the only way to stop myself subscribing would be to sell all my gear on my characters or delete them. can't quite bring myself to do it though :D

Even if you do all that you can get your gear back if it's the first time you've done it

Change your password and email into something random that you'll never remember. Problem solved.

It would be awesome if they released a high end graphics pack that people could optionally download; increased poly count models and higher rez textures.

Yeah that would be nice - After a few years away I am trying it out again but the graphics are a bit dated now - Even for the style they used which I liked it does show its age now.

I think I will persist get up to being able to run dungeons at 15, which is why I am playing again the dungeons, then see if I am ready to pay a subscription again.

It... won't happen. Everquest is on... 20 expansions I think? More still coming. They aren't going to turn it off or stop developing for it when they are getting around £55m a month from it. It would make absolutely no sense to let it die at this point or anytime in the near future.

The other MMO could well be awesome, there's plenty of stuff around that will steal further subs from it (TESO being one) but I don't really see it dipping far below 3m for at least another 2/3 years.

There's still a build up to the final "big bad" (Sargeras) to go yet along with his other surviving lieutenant (Kil'jaden, the dude from sunwell).

I'm unsubbed at the moment so really have no big interest in it continuing but there's absolutely zero chance it's going to be going away anytime soon.

The current exp is one of the most polished they've produced though (imo) the story is a bit... dull. More than happy to give it a long rest/might not be back but definitely don't wish the game any ill will.

I was happily levelling my lock last night when some turd of an alliance bod decided to keep killing my NPC before I could get the next part of my quest. I even went away for about 20 mins doing some gathering, came back and he was still there. Bloody camping biff, is their life so boring that this is how they get their thrills? Hopefully he wont be there tonight and I can crack on, only got 5 days left of my free 7 before I decide whether or not to re-sub. My realm (Argent Dawn) seems dead though and I've hardly seen anyone in the past 2 days. Saying that though, I'm getting about 10 guild join request whispers each time I log in.

What level are you? if you are low enough I would recomend rerolling on a high pop server horde server (draenor is the highest pop I think).

The trouble with WoW now is that anyone levelling a new toon will just stay in OG/SW and spam Dungeons/BG's - there is no need to get out in the world (you'll out level each zone befor your a 3rd of the way through the quests on offer anyway).

They are slowly rolling out this joined up server thing though, only US servers at the moment I believe.

Yea I play on Defias Brotherhood and the population seems pretty decent, but only in Org/Timeless Isle etc. out and about leveling up normally there is only the occasional person you see.
