maybe not on the scale they did it but iirc they had to change the whole way the old wow was written to allow flying mounts int he 1st place but i could be wrong.

It was actually the map that had to be rebuilt. A lot of it was incompletely constructed because players weren't meant to be able to get to certain locations, so there were places where textures didn't exist, there were whole areas that were just flat ground, and so on.
 
Yup, there used to be a very hard and weird route up to see 'inside' Orgrimmar from the gatehouse. When you got up there the ground was textureless and just fell away. Sadly, I lost my screenshots when I got a new PC or I'd post one.

I personally don't like the Addams Family look for the Undead and I hate Orgrimmar anyway. I'm a die hard Hordie, but gosh, walking through Stormwind makes me want to faction change! I'd have to transfer about 7 characters though and I like BEs too much.
 
Another night of no crashing

Got Revered Klaxxi last night and bang another dozen quests to do........ think its given me a couple more dailies though.

Back up to 3 hours of dailies then :(
 
I was having an issue where my game would randomly crash to desktop several times a day and I would get a message saying my graphics driver had stopped responding. This only seemed to happen when playing WoW. I tried changing the game from DX11 down to DX9 and now the problem seems to have disappeared.

Guess its fairly obvious what was causing the problem.
 
I've just got MOP after a long time away from the game after the start of Cata.

Seems to be pretty much the same but the new layout of the quests is very simple to follow and the new areas are visually interesting.

The main thing I've found which I like was ElvUI, a full addon interface, really easy to setup and no messing around. I used to spend hours setting them up and this took about 5 minutes.

Will try a Monk soon but it looks like it could be dull..

You can play it just fine in DX11 if you disable/lower SSAO. I wrote that a few pages back.

Me too. Mine was disabled by default anyway because I'm running it on a laptop.

I got from 25-30 in about an hour and a half last night. I'm glad to be honest. I've got about 5 85s. Levelling got very boring after the my second 85. The only problem is I only get to explore about 1/3 of each area (not using heirlooms). I'd still rather that than spending months levelling.

really enjoying mists atm, busy doing my order of the cloud serpent dailies to get the mount, month of dailies should do it, also got my lorewalker cloud mount, very easy to obtain ! all in all its been fun!
 
I'm enjoying it! My Holy Paladin is actually fun to level. Keep getting Horde attacking me whilst questing - oh boy do they have a surprise when I can just stun them every 30secs and spam Denounce non stop. :D

I was lucky enough to get the Spear of Xuen quite early on. Being a polearm it has no strength, but it's still a level 90 weapon that you can use at 85. I was churning up 30k damage on elites at 87, though that's down a bit at 89 as I'm no longer hit/expertise capped.

Priority for Retris is Inq - TV (5HP) - Exo - CS - TV (4HP) - Judge - TV (3HP), by the way. You want to have more than 3HP when you use TV to ensure that Inquisition can always be refreshed for at least 20 seconds when it starts getting low.

It's not really a rotation as such, we only have 2 damage spells - holy shock and denounce, or 3 if you have the word of glory damage glyph (cant remember name). With the mana cost of holy shock and denounce so low, I can activate my wings+divine favor macro and throw out some pretty decent burst damage using hardly any mana. I was level 87 last night and my Holy Shock crit for 60k.
 
I am holy bias but level as retri and offspecc is retri

I always like to count the amount of TV i get in a row, 8 was my record the other night......mob went down in about 10 secs :)

for this mount do u need all the other professions maxed out as i dont have them lol i dinged 90 other day and just doing pvp and daileis but not sure which 1s todo lol
