** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

I doubt you'll get 50-60k single target dps as I don't but I'm usually top 3 in raids as fury over different packs and multimob bosses about 65k dps. In heroics again anything from 48-85k dps depending on mobs.

Haven't played my warrior seriously since tbc, any tips for fury?
Will only be playing it as an alt as my monk is my main now

from past expansions apart from cata, when i didnt touch a warrior, arms has always been better as a freshly dinged max level toon in blues, is fury deffo better than arms this time?
I feel your pain bemaniac, we've had allsorts of problems in my guild on the first boss this week, apparently we had the toughest combo of statues.
Healing has been a shock to the system so far, i have most hc gear and a couple of epics and my mana bar just disappears

I think with the healing side of things is no different to any other expansion that i remember.

When i 1st did cata and WofLK dungeons i was omming after every fight even mobs because the tank and DPS go gung ho in with their nice shinny epics but are no better then having green.

I am still learning to heal fully or properly with a pala and its been my main and main spec for about 5-6 years now........Healing is interesting though for me as a pala maybe cause its all sort of changed and like you say mana is still an issue but HC's are mega easy unless you get a nab group which i had 1 yesterday.

Also Blizzard hate me, i have run best part of 20 hcs and got 5 or 6 463 items coupled with my 2 made main hand and shield from BS.

I am 50 VP off of epic ring from Golden lotus so should have that wednesday and have the Klaxxi neck from VP. Had to buy a JP trinket yesterday with 800 mastery on to get my Item level up to 454 purely cause i still running 2 437 items and a 403 Item Level trinket :p

My rep grind is coming to a end soon as i am nearly exalted with tilers and Cloud serpent is exalted, so Anglers Klaxxi and Golden Lotus (just got honored i think cause i can get the ring).

Moved Guild recently and we made progress on 1st boss in new raid content but i wasnt part of it Sunday as i was out.

All in all i am quite happy so far with the content, personally like the idea of having to get revered with 1 fraction to talk to the other, if i get a few hours Sunday i might do the Lorewalker exalted run and with my HC's i am nearly exalted with Tusi Panda.

Guys, i hope this is not a silly question, but i have one about Inscription

When i took Inscription when it was first introduced and i had the time i made it my mission to learn all the glyphs possible, then Cata came out and i know that i had learnt them all and concentrated on the new batch, i think i learnt them all but could be wrong as i had less time to dedicate. So now i am back on the case and found that i can learn a new glyph from each discovery Tire one (don't remember name) two (Northrend Glyph Research) and the latest (Scroll of Wisdom Research).

my question is, if i do have all the glyphs from a specific tier, how will i know i am done and not waste mats? as i am 90% sure i learnt a glyph i already knew.

should i go through all my glyphs write them down/screenshot and see if this is the case?
I did Google before i asked but could not find any info.

if anyone could shed some light i would greatly appreciate it :)
best regards
Moshpit

I think i had all the glyphs also but not looked into it since pandaland

I got my main which does Mining and BS and my 2nd which has Alch and Herbs to feed my 3rd which has JC and Scrip and i not started to level my 2nd yet

There's an add-on called Ackis Recipe List which will show you which recipes you are missing and where they are obtained. It works with all professions and is a great little lightweight tool. As a bit of a recipe collector myself over the years it has proved invaluable.

Got lvl 90 a few nights back after playing casually, had a free weekend and put 2 12 hour grinding shifts in with my mates to get from 87 to 90. Usually I always tank but my friend is wanting to do it, so im really enjoying my arms warrior atm, the Heroic dungeons might not be hard, but they sure as hell are fun. I havent enjoyed WoW this much since Lich King.

Bought the full heirloom gear including weapons and trinkets and sent them to a rouge, The leveling via quests isgood, but the XP in dungeons is insane, 2 runs last nite and went from 15 to level 20. Gonna just log in when i can and grind them.

Running around facerolling mobs in full heirloom gear is really fun.

I dinged my warlock a couple of nights ago but I have been doing some pvp - I haven’t got all the quests done in Pandaland I have just started going onto the 2nd last area. So I was wondering, what is the best way to start getting some gear ready for HC's

I am slightly overwhelmed on what rep to get and things like that so if any1 knows of any kind of guide or give me some pointers that would be great!

Its a funny old thing the rep grind

Personally i got loremaster of pandaland as i did with every expansion just by being methodical and doign each quest as it come to me, took me probably 5 or so days to complete on 12 hour days.

The rep grind is a bit more intense

Lorewalkers is a finding thing i think, not looked it up and its all about discovering stuff i believe. takes a good few hours i think to get exalted

Golden Lotus is a bit of a slog 156 (human) rep per daily but you need to do it to get epic ring 489 item level and also start the dailies of the Shado Pan and then grind there rep, i am not there yet but think i need to be revered. More you get into them the more you have to do, go to this place then that place then another place totals about 15 odd dailies.

Klaxxi again is a bit of a mission unlocking more dailies as you do more quests etc but get nice Epic Neck at Honored which i have.

Tillers basically is all about the cooking lots of quests and farmers to befriend for varying amounts of reward etc once you got cooking to 600 you can also do Way of Wok, Steam, Oven, Brew and others i think which you can also level to 600 but again i have found this to be a chow on if you are running your farm as you can only grow 4 then 8 then 12 then 16 cooking items dependant on rep use tokens to buy meat and fish for daily quests but you need 100 Year old Soy to level most specialty cooking. But all good fun, exalted is a few mounts and some other bits and pieces but not epics as such

Anglers basically is a new fishing rod and few mounts so maybe leave this till later unless you a rep ****

Cloud Serpent is all about the mounts again and the dailies can drag on but if you have cooking and fishing and Arch you can get extra quests for farming these also leveling your professions

Tushi panda Alliance side is basically rep for Pandas for mounts but you can pic k up a tabbard for when you do dailies.

for me the easy way to get gear for HC is to get guildies to make stuff for you around item level 440 and also complete all quests in Dread Wastes purely cause you get some nice blue items around the 440 item leel mark, hc item level is 463 with LFR 476 and raid 487

Hope that helps

Edit:

TO add to this you have black prince Deathwings son or something that you get rep for killing mobs, get to honored then you complete a quest etc and then need signals and stuff for legendary kit or something, not looked it up properly yet

Wow thank you that has made it a little bit better for me. The only rep grinding I did was wearing a tabard in Cata so I think this could be little more interesting. I would queue for the normal dungeons but as a cloth wearer I haven’t had much luck with the drops :( it always seems to be mail or plate gear.

I have my monk healer at level 43 now but I want to make a start on the end content because I am always always behind in it lol

You think your out of luck i think i have 5 drops of 20 odd heroics.........

to be fair though i have been grinding dailies cause my old guild went quiet and none have come back, like i said i have nearly 2 489 items 50 VP off ring and an item level around 455 i think so just short of LFR. moved guild now and cause i have completed some fractions rep grind i can farm a few hcs now as they want me to start raiding tonight but i am not sure i have the gear yet.

Not sure why but i went of heroic grinding in cata more so that was in a raiding guild and server that basically went dead over the last few years so.

The dailies will take you best part of 3 hours to start with and that will drop to 2 hours once you get in a set routine for instance i start with Tillers, short trip to Anglers, fish my fish up in open water for Cloud serpent then pop off to do them, shoot over to Klaxxi which seems a long way of doing it but then back to Golden Lotus as if i get itchy feet i can just leave a section of them and go HC for an hour or 2 but i usually end up sticking it out

Regards to warriors and fury. Was arms in heroics i was doing 50k to 60k dps. I have just changed to fury as i was lucky to get to heroic 2 handers. Not done enough runs to test the fury dps so i will post back here once i played a lot. But i will expect arms to be better.

In pvp arms defo all the way. The one shot macro used at the moment is just amazing. I expect huge nerfs comming in for a few classes though as there well o.p.

Really tempted to get back into this......I hated Cata but it seems the consensous is good on this one.

Anyone got a scroll they can throw my way?

By changing the world, Blizzard imo destroyed the look and feeling of the game. I miss the old looking Orgrimmar and Tarren Mill, not to mention The Barrens.

I agree with you. The vanilla version of WoW (the original game without expansions) had me engrossed for a year. Each expansion however, weaned me away from the game, up to the point where I totally gave up 2 years ago in early Cata.

I have got to ask you guys though - where in the Warcraft lore did the panda race crop up? I don't recall such back in Warcraft 3 and it seemed like an attempt to garner more Asian players, or at least to those who liked Kung Fu Panda.

Ran BT yesterday and got my first Glaive, then decided to go to MC as I want to start farming Thunderfury and got the Left Binding on my first run. So chuffed. I'm a DK as well so one Glaive + Thunderfury will look EPIC when I get it.
In other new, levelling a Mistweaver Monk is the funnest thing in WoW to me atm. Renewing Mist exceeds throughput of any other HoT in the game by miles. It's like a 10x better version of Rejuvination that automatically spreads across the party/raid and lasts for 18 seconds. How cool is that?

Depends what you are after.

Questing is extremely dull, far worst than other any other expansion. There is also more bugged quests that I can ever remember- probably more between 85-90 than 1-85.
Heroics/Scenario's are a joke, far too easy. Rep grinding through dailies is the most stupid thing that blizzard has every done and PvP is still a farce due to Blizzards lack of understand of basic maths.
Doesn't help that I am playing boomkin which is probably the worst spec in the game from a fun PoV.

Quite enjoyed it myself, had one bugged quest during the entire levelling to 90.

I don't find myself enjoying endgame yet though, I log in do my Cloud Serpent dailies, fly off to Halfhill and do the Farmer Yoon dailies. Then I hearth back to Dalaran and check the AH for mogging gear, mounts and pets.

After that I'll sometimes log my Pandaren Brewmaster Monk and run a dungeon or two.

I'll replace dailies for a few Heroics once I've got my mount. Will give PvP a go soon, farming mats + SoH for the recipes.
