** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

The whole thing with having people from different servers questing together is a brilliant idea.

I mean it was only a few months back that I was questing and I thought "You know what would make this so much better?"

"Having half a dozen people queueing for a single quest mob to kill!"

Since nobody answered;
BG queues are almost insta pop most of the time
Heroic tanking queue is basically insta pop (with lots of BoA satchels)
DPS I think is around 7~ mins

I'd say you're looking more at 10+ min as DPS apart from 9pm and onwards where it's rarely longer than 5min. It's also a good time to HC as all the kids are in bed, therefore most, if not all of my heroics are done late night along with BGs. Just find it more enjoyable that way.

Apart from the fact that many sad people of the opposing faction gank you then yeah, it's cool.

playin on a pvp server cant really moan about bein ganked now can ye :/

Currently looking for a new realm to move to from moonglade, looking for PVE realm preferably horde, decent economy and nice casual guild with potential for some raiding.

Any suggestions :)

Aye, I picked the server I'm on because it has a good looking name when I joined, I was a noob :P :(

I don't have the ganking problem, being on PvE sorts that.

It's just that I specifically roll onto quiet servers so that I can quest and play the game without having to worry about fighting over particular mobs, or having to deal with the generally low-IQ of the playerbase.

Filling these areas up with the dregs from the other servers therefore isn't helpful. :p

Anybody seen the preliminary changes to classes in 5.2?
Looks quite exciting, especially Monks.

Yep...some quite interesting Rogue buffs, not sure if all will make it to live.

Some Mage nerfs too.

I picked up MoP recently and battled my way to 89 with my Rogue...then picked up my 85 Fire Mage for a laugh. It was so much better, was topping BG charts in the 85-89 bracket with the mage, when Id been nowhere near it on the Rogue.

I appreciate that pug BG charts dont mean much, but its as good a measure as any that I have for the relative feel of the gameplay.

Frostjaw is so awesome for a Fire Mage in PvP....

Back at work today, so no wow for a little bit.

Problem with BG's and melee is that idiots cannot keep Galv/Drek/Bel/Vandar in one place and keep taunting him back and forth making it tough to position yourself for maximum DPS. Ranged don't have this issue so it can focus on maximising DPS over however long it takes to get a kill. With my pre-raiding geared MM Hunter I frequently top the charts with around 50-60k DPS in the lvl90 bracket and even as high as 70k for a bit when my trinkets are kicking. Though, I'm also chugging a quick potion (4k agility one. Name escapes me).

However, with a good tank that keeps a boss still, melee creeps up very fast on Recount.

Agree with you about melee...I find max'ing my Rogue's dps frustrating in PvE as well, so many mechanics seem to favor ranged over melee. Buts that another story.

I see you play a hunter...how many pets do Hunters get these days? Came up against quite a few on My Fire Mage yesterday...tore me a new one (no change there), but at times I felt like I was being attacked by my local zoo!..Couldnt even see the hunter for all the pets around lol.

Got kicked from a random dungeon group yesterday, reason was for having ONE intellect stamina ring.

(This and the Healer dying because he didn't know anything about the tactics).

I've seen much worse on my dungeon tanking since level 15, including DK's in tank spec (usually using taunts in their rotation, despite being there as dps), Hunters with their pet's growl on (My main is a Hunter, never did a single growl in a dungeon whilst levelling, this was my first character too!). Healers haven't been too bad, only met two bad ones on my journey (one is the above, the second is a guy who stopped healing me mid fight because "I don't know what to do, you take huge damage then you stop taking so much, then you take a huge pile more".

Does no-one know their role in levelling dungeons anymore?

Ranty rant over, best go to my dailies :(

Just jumped back into WoW, any tips to again respec my rogue?

##EDIT##
This is really quite confusing, where the heck is the talent tree!

What about combat rogues?

A popular spec online appears to be this:

Combat is an effective spec for sure, and I like the looks of 2 x swords/axes and so on, but personally I find the spec so boring and uninvolving to play its unreal. Each to their own though, try it out.

Rogues should be the most awesome feeling class to play in WoW, yet they are pretty darn boring to me :(

Slice and Dice can jump off a cliff.
