Anyone paid just for premium? Like the idea of contributing as it's the game I've been wanting for many years and certainly enjoying it... however don't really feel like shelling out 30 quid for a single ship.

Yes and really if you see yourself playing it regularly for X period of time then as far as these games are concerned premium time is the most worthwhile thing you could spend money on, much more so than a single ship. It would also carry over into World of Tanks if you wanted to play that.

Yup, I've paid for 3 months and think it's great.

Played non stop since March and not got bored yet. Bought the Murmansk for £9 though. Great cruiser.

^^ Aoba is a great cruiser. Tempted to use her instead of the Myoko when the ranked battles come next patch!

I loved the Aoba, just got the Myoko but haven't really played much due to the Tirpitz spam at higher tiers and waiting for the patch.

Fear the ranked battles as far as cruisers go is going to be nothing but idiots in Clevelands and Atlantas spamming HE.

That's not what I said, just that if you're playing say a battleship, expect to see a lot of clevelands, and a lot of fire.

Myoko is good! Although getting a little bit of a nerf in the patch.

I am about 14k experience off the Zao, cannot wait to get in that baby!

It depends on map size, I don't mind Clevelands to be honest. The shell trajectory is ridiculous and can be kept at bay. Best faced at range. But being a cruiser player you can get out of the way of the salvos quite easily.
