You just need to learn how to play carriers thats all I`m saying. First game today just played in Langley it was me v Hosho he sent two torp squadrons at me and did 3 hits and I survived. I then sent one torp squadron at him and sunk him. If you dont want to play carriers and dont like that style of play its fine I`m not having a go just remember other people play the game, enjoy it and can use the style of ship well. I hate BB's now I cant hit anything in them but I think thats the game too not me as I play the Wyoming and get high scores every time with it. Not to everyone's liking no need to take a huff over a game.

Set your chat options (if it's possible in WoWS) so that only those in your friends list can contact you, and these messages will go away (these little bots also infest WoT, and I changed my chat settings there to stop them).

Getting irritated spending 20 minutes in a game only to lose as 4 players on my team fail to understand that you have TO CAP AND HOLD THE CAPS to win. Chasing the enemy carrier in a battleship is just him trolling you.

There is also a daft killall mentality that is also here. One ship can still force a draw if you decide to chase him down instead of cap.

Ho hum...

That was with my 2 whole squadrons of torp bombers, which get shot down the second something looks at them, and my fighters which im sure are bugged as they cant shoot down enemy planes.

Makes for a whole 75xp, so it isnt worth my time playing.

e: that was genuinely putting in some effort too, not just getting killed for a sarky screenshot. I was there until the end of the game pretty much.

Bogue is a horrible offensive CV, Just rock out all fighters on that.

Edit: My bad thought it was Bogue.. I think a Langley is just the same though.
 
Well, finally got my Konigsberg yesterday - and how lovely it is to have her back again! :)

Just had a brilliant match, 2nd time out, 1st after the gun range increase addition.

Stayed at range, damaging enemy ships and taking no fire in return, got about 35 hits, no kills, then I realised all our team was headed to B and at least an enemy CA was moving to A, so I headed back to defend.

Half way there, a Clemson popped up in range, so he got some HE, then popped off into smoke while I was being pinged by an Omahaha. So i switched fire to the Omaha, and after a salvo or 2 derped and rammed into an island, just as the Clemson re-appeared, to a full barrage of HE in the face, which blew him up and reset the cap counter!

By this point I was back on fire and had used my repair consumable so I expected to die to the Omaha, who had all the advantages against a slowly-reversing ship.

Well, a good salvo of AP sorted him out - and my final health? 74HP! :D
 
Konigs is a good ship, Nurnberg even better. I kill Clevelands with ease in it.

I just unlocked the Yorck and it's gone downhill now since the turrets rotate at battleship speed.
 
Any 1 been having issues today?

Me and my mate both going from solid 60gps down to 20/30 he jas an i7 and i have my sig rig.

Check vram usage and its gone up to 5.2gb vram since last patch only used to be about 4gb

Doesnt work. Alienware have messed up they are still showing 8000+ keys last night and everyone gets an email saying WOWSALIENWARE or WOWSALIENWAREINVITE.
It says the code is invalid when you try and type it in.
See commens under the giveaway other people have said same also true on forums.

I was on a couple of hours yesterday and it was fine. Noticed the Konigs....seems OP since last patch.

And that's why I love my Konigsberg! :D

It's "OP" in that it can outrange most other things, so if you play well, you use that to your advantage. Also, it's one of the very few ships that can run away at full speed, while bringing down 2/3 of it's firepower on any pursuer. Most ships won't chase you far, for fear of being taken apart by several ships at once, hence you quickly get out of their range but can still land hits.

Well.... that's how I try to play her anyway :p

Noticed the Warspite is up for purchase, but in a bundle - what have people paid for it in the past? Don't mind supporting the devs once...

Having a lot of fun in Russian DD's, in a kinda non-sneaky way ;)

I don't have any premium boats, but the price for them does seem to be a bit steep! I wouldn't be against "micro" transactions, if they were actually micro! You can get whole games, or whole franchises in some cases, for what they want for the price of a single boat....

Russian DD's are wierd. You start getting half-decent 5km torps at tier 4, but then tier 5 reverts to garbage 3km torps again! I think I'll just pop my Russki commander to reserve, and await other ships of theirs for now.
 
im still a pink player after 2 weeks :(

Doesn't matter how many kills or wins I get without damaging teammates, it won't clear.

I'm not particularly bothered about it other than the fact that friendly players think its the same as WOT and they get a free kill for sinking me, so the first 5 mins in every battle I get hammered from my own team.

All thanks to one battleship driver who team rammed me to the point of me giving him a broadside (he spent about 10 mins doing it on purpose)
 
picked this up again last week. most of the crybabies seem to have disappeared, which made me stop in the first place :D
up to the Cleveland for US cruisers and got the koenigsberg the other day (I skipped the Karlsruhe with free xp though)
Koenigsberg is a nice change from the US cruisers :cool:
