Well I'm just waititng for the wipe before open beat and live now - sat on 25 million credits and a my Des Moins with its autoloaders is sooooo much fun.

But I really really really want the Montana and the Big Stick :(

Did anyone buy all three of the preload ships? besides me? The Sim's is simply epic and the Gravisinki thing from russia - wow those guns hit like a train. Kawachi and Kongo's get mullered by this little monster.

But the Sim's has really really won it for me - 5 second turret trevese, 38 knots and that agilty. sure the torpedos are rubbish, but its such a agile thing. Managed to evade so many torpedo attacks even spotting at last minute.

The Jap one is well, just feels like a jap cruiser - but its got the best AA defence in t4/5 - easy to get 10-15 air kills in the right place with that thing
 
I bought them in the 3 in 1 yesterday, only played the Russian DD so far and not played many games as a Destroyer anyway. Sims looks to be the best of the bunch but liking the Russian one, gun traverse is horrible for a destroyer but the speed and 8km Torp range are v.nice.

Also looks like if you buy any of the pre-order bundles you now get into the closed beta. Liking the game a lot, can't wait for them to add the RN though :(
 
I bought the Yubari (T4 Jap Cruiser), simply because I prefer playing low tiers basically. In my mind its bugged becaues I was expecting the usual Cruiser AA ability that ships with dual purpose armaments have but for some reason this one doesnt have that? Seems odd.
 
Well surprise surprise they open the flood gates to CBT and now for the first time (yesterday evening) we get login queues (~350 people) and ingame lag like never before. Rookie mistake IMO ramping up access so suddenly without doing ANY investment in capacity planning. Its all about them maximising £££ clearly.
 
Bought my way in to the CBT like the dirty pay4win cheat I am. Man I love this game! MY favourite thing to do is scoot around an island in a destroyer, catching much larger ship unawares......

Well the nations you can hop in and play in the Beta are the US/Japan at the moment.

That is without paying for the random premium ships for Russia/UK
 
I've sacked of World of Tanks it is such a pay to win grind fest. I've played it since beta and now find Warships really fun!

Love destroyers and cruisers aint bad. Battleships are too slow to be of any use really.
 
Reviews on YouTube suggest that the Sims is the best pay to enter package.
It's true that the Sims is a good ship however competition at tier 7 is too fierce.
I personally prefer the Grem or Yubari.
