First game, a decent win, a couple of kills and lots of hits. That's it I'm quitting now whilst I'm ahead 
I didn't think this did very well on Twitch as I found it quite boring to watch, it's a lot more fun to play though

I find it fun at the lower tiers, once aircraft carriers get in though I don't find it fun at all. If two carriers focus you there is nothing you can do. Ho hum.

Wierd I'm on the mailing list and I didnt recieve any notification about it opening back up again either. Maybe it only emails out to those not already in the CBT who are waiting?

never go alone and always ask for CA support if you are in BB.
if you are in DD you can avoid them very easily.
If you are in CA especially the AA focused one, you do something wong since you should be able to shoot the planes

Destoyers are great fun, let loose a salvo of torps.. only to watch your teammate blunder into them haha. Just got a tier 4 one

I did that twice yesterday, one was a destroyer that just got obliterated. Oops.

It is a great game and I am enjoying it.
But.
It does feel a bit like world of tanks with slower tanks, flat maps and no cover.
DD = LT
CA = MT
BS = HT
CV = Arty
AP/HE = Normal gun
Torps = Derp
Still - nice to have a change. Plus I have only played it for 2 days so what do I know !
Mind you 1st random involved an idiot fire two spreads of torps at a CV when I was between them and the target. So maybe it is the same.
But.

I'm not feeling the love, it's more broken than WoT with the aircraft carriers. Destroyers are fun as you can still dodge attacks in the main, but I'm not having any fun at all with the low tier cruisers. I just don't feel the appeal to ground more to see if it gets better at higher tiers. I guess there is a reason why the usual WoT steamers all stopped playing it...

I got a bit fuffed off trying to get a new ship, but couldnt selll an old ship due to upgrades and having no piastas, and it saying destroy your upgrades free but not giving you the option.
I have seen me side swerving torpedos at full chat in the battleship tonight, but you have to watch to do it. Cruisers take some getting used to.
Dont forget list of captains in the first post, add up and lets sink some a$$..

I've racked up just over 100 games and im laying off currently until either the next content patch or piastas get added. My highest ship is a T6 Fuso BB and my others are around T4 (CV, DD and CA).
I like it overall but theres some flaws IMO:
- CV's being able to manually drop torps 600m from the side of the ship. This needs increasing to give more reaction time.
- BB's dmg is way too RNG and varied to be reliable. Hitting targets at 15km is hard enough only to then roll the dice to see what dmg you even do.
DD's and CA's seem fine to me currently.
