The guy i div with every night got the Georgia last week and he loves it, he reckons its the best t9 BB (and he has them all including Missouri, JB and Musashi)

Picked up the T7 BB California in the Santa Boxes I got free with the Twitch mission. To say the chances of getting ships are misleading reading a lot of people getting multiple ships for not much outlay.

Anyone still playing this or have an interest and hated CV's thought you should know 0.10.5.0 has nerfed rocket planes to make them almost unusable. The firing mechanic has changed into some convoluted double firing process which means its nigh on impossible to hit DD's as machine guns now telegraph where the aim is and DD's can just turn out of the way. As a CV player myself its absolutely shocking.

Plus they have broken usermusic which is even worse.

It's a good thing for dd's but it seems like the developers are going out of their way to pee off the veteran players.
With the Dutch cruisers, subs and Russian cv"s on the horizon, I don't see myself lasting much longer.

I've not played for a few months I gave it a rest and made an attempt to play my other games gathering digital dust. Only popped back as they started showering little gifts to try and get you back like they do. Noticed the crafty thing they did with the new hybrid ship. The Tia or whatever it was called was around £18 then that seems to have disappeared under 10.5 to be replaced by Tone which is now £31!

Problem now is CV players are getting fed up from both ends. Rocket planes really difficult to use on DD's and then stick from the rest of the team when CV's dont go after DD's as its pointless and go for BB or cruisers. Non CV players not realising how bad they just nerfed the Rocket planes. Its like they want to get rid of CV's.

WG have really gone and upset me now. This is my response I received to why Usermusic folder doesnt work anymore. If you look at the current bug report thread on their forum most of the posts are asking why usermusic doesnt work.

This feature was disabled in 0.10.5 update.
Since this feature is not popular with players, we are planning to completely delete it after 0.10.6 update release. So after 0.10.6 release, you will not be able to use custom music.

I honestly don't get the loyalty to this game Saying that after 2 years playing and countless 100s of Euros spent....

Wargaming are the absolute masters of microtransactions and random loot crates. Its absolutely sick tbh.

The F2P model was so so good back in the day but after it got to about 4 or 5 nations mainlines its become a complete premium fest. THe prices are ludicrous.

Im not saying you cant spend your hard earned money on whatever you want, but youre giving it to a terrible developer with not an ounce of care to its players.

They know people burn out fast, they want your wallet empty and you to give up and move on.... lol

I might consider selling my account they must be worth a fricking fortune....

The only things I have bought in the last few years are the 12 months premium time that's on offer at Christmas.
And occasionally dubloons for demounting modules.
I doubt I will be still playing when my premium runs out though.
It seems WG are going out of their way to pee the playerbase off.

Will just have to use Windows Media Player for music.

I just tend to come back when they start throwing freebies at you and free premium. So I will play it for a bit but the WG EU forum has quite a strong thread on the CV nerf. Gets quite toxic on there too.

Also I get the freebie twitch stuff too. Just set a video playing with drops enabled on low res volume on low then go do something else just to get the free containers.

The doo-doo really hit the fan yesterday when LittleWhiteMouse quit the Community Contributors program!

Aaaaaand now they're sinking faster than Beatty's battlecruisers at Jutland.... iChase, Flambass, Mr__Gibbins, ChaosmachineGR, and JINGLES have all quit.

Quite the rollercoaster today, and I have a feeling it's FAR from over

I stopped playing with the commander rework earlier this year. The whole deadeye thing just reeked as trap cash grab although i don't know if it turned into one.

The CC program was dead as soon as Flamau got kicked and made a success of going independent. They also changed how it worked several months previously to remove most of the positive community aspects of it. Sadly i don't think this will change anything wargaming do or their appalling attitude to the player base.

About the only decent thing to come out of them recently has been the armchair admirals series on YouTube. I'm still waiting for them to cover the battle of Tsushima. Do you see Torpedo Boats?

It makes me really sad to see what this game has become. I quit just after the first CV rework after playing from the Closed Beta, as I felt it was headed the wrong way, too much bloat and odd balancing decisions.

But I have followed the CC videos since, and seeing what WG has been doing to milk the player base makes me glad to not be playing anymore.

A crying shame as it was a brilliant game.

Well, this drama sure is entertaining. I have zero sympathy for a company that charges twice the price of a triple A* game for a single ship in theirs.

If anything, I'm quite enjoying watching the world burn!

Still love the game mind and still play it - just for free these days.

Ive been playing this since beta, I purely play it for some quick fun and a laugh but I must admit even as someone not massively invested in the WoW community is become obvious there are issues let alone anger at the dev's. Subs being the latest issue.

Once a good game spoiled by bad game decisions (CV's , subs etc ) and Ruined by a shifty scummy dodgy legally dubious company that goes all out to prey on the vulnerable

well over 10% of their CCs have now left - and pretty much all of their more Higher Profile CC (excluding one certain CC that still is there who even WG probably don't want considering his behavior)

BTW if you want a good laugh look at the Official WG response and their 'offer' on the Missouri - what a sick joke
