****** Official World of Warships Thread ******

Looks like we are losing some ships in 3 months.

Starting from Update 0.10.1, the following ships will no longer be available to obtain:

  • British battleship Thunderer, Tier X;
  • European destroyer Smaland, Tier X;
  • American battleship Georgia, Tier IX;
  • American cruiser Alaska, Tier IX;
  • American battleship Massachusetts, Tier VIII.
I have 2.1mill free xp, and 600k coal, but dont play BB's.
Kind of tempted to get the Alaska.
Smaland is too expensive imo @ 2mill free xp, already have the Halland

So not sure which ones to go for or just wait and see what new ships are coming
 
The only ship on that list I need to pick up is Georgia, I have the rest and don't really care about Smaland. I will wait for the 25% coupon to refresh first before I get her however as I'm in no rush.

I have Alaska but only have a few games in her.
 
Some good free stuff going around at the moment as well as the 7 day premium just got the black friday container with 14 day premium so now I've got 53 days premium. My plan is usually to dip into WOW every now and again with 30 day premium then wind it down till I've had enough of WOW play something else and come back to it again later. So far think I've been playing this for 3 months now and not had to buy any more premium just keep getting it giving!

A wise choice. Possibly the 'best' way to build her is to maximise survivability, but honestly... build for secondaries. 11.3km range, and it's like having an Atlanta strapped to either side of your battleship. I'd recommend taking fire prevention as a 4 point skill, and either Basics of Survivability or Superintendent for 3 points, because you really want to have Manual Secondary Expert and Advanced Firing Training, if you can.

Alaska is probably most universal and one of the best premiums - very rarely im leaving battle with less than 5cits,its not even T9,its like 9.5 :D
My highest win % is Alaska and Petro,and im not BC palyer even,but those 2 are really good ships.And Alaska is probably best looking boat

Are Wargaming capable of doing anything that doesn't end in a giant **** storm?
 
I gave up on this a long time ago now but i do wonder how much money they can make....

Flambass spent 80 euros or whatever and most of the containers were camos and regular flags... I mean seriously....

Never mind the "RNG" scam on the ships.. That is a criminal joke, i bet it will be gone very soon
 
I bought 16 boxes before I saw that video showing how rigged they were!!

I got real lucky though, 160 days premium, a T-61 VI and VIII Orkan. I hate destroyers :p !!! but I'm really liking the T-61, seems quite nippy and the torps wreck !
 
WG in there Verizon Championship on Twitch have admitted they are having a meeting tomorrow to discuss the Youtube allegations about the Santa Boxes.

I bought 6 which included one of each "size" and the best I got was 12000 coal.
 
Just buy ship if you really want one,no headache.
That saying,i got 4 ships from 5 BF boxes,spent 18eur,got ships worth around 100-120 if buy separately.
Xmas boxes - big no,till they fix and make % higher
 
I may have accidentally my whole pile of coal....

he goods from the containers should still be on your account, otherwise, Customer Support will have to do a roll-back to restore them and process the refund.

so You'd lose any credits and exp since? glad I didn't buy more than 1000 doubloons worth in the armory

Yea if rollback needed you would lose credits etc.

I didn't buy any but a lot of people in my clan did and are being told it could take several weeks to process a refund due to the large number of requests they have received. Poor show all round from wargaming but not surprising!

Will be getting the Alaska for Fxp and just got the Thunderer (always used to have the 'thunderer edition' t10 when they had 2 gun types), smaland is out of my reach for fxp before the time runs out, will get the Georgia or Massa if I have the coal before the release.
