***Official Wrath of the Lich King Thread***(Contains spoilers)***

Woo finally got my 10 man icc mount, had been missing sind heroic for the past few weeks, just had been visiting family when we were running ten mans.

Goddamn Enchanting is getting expensive :(
Currently at 408 and have ran outta mats.

I just spent a day or so farming and questing, realised I haev missed skills and went and bought em... skint again :(
Is there any way I can add more hotbars?
Dont seem to have enough on the standard ones.
Ideally I would like 5 or so rows active at the bottom of my screen.

Im currently in Shadowmoon valley and haven't started the wotlk areas yet, do the quests yield much more gold/xp? Is it worth finishing these quests I have or you reckon I should just dump em all and head to northrend?

Anyone one shadowsong need owt enchanted? xD

Easiest thing to do to level enchanting - Buy a couple of stacks of herbs, i'm sure you know has inscription and would be willing to mill some herbs and turn it into ink for you.

What other professions do you have along with enchanting, for some professions there are a few surefire ways of getting a mass amount of mats

Edit :- as for the quests i'd say jump to northrend now

you will get to 80 quicker due to higher xp gains from mobs and quests and any quests you haven't finished off in outland will be worth more gold when you hit 80.

Enchanting doesn't use herbs mate, or at least doesn't use them yet lol

Only one prof atm, couldn't really work out what would go best with Ench as there not really any gathering skills that I can see making a huge dent in needing to purchase mats.

Most of the mats I need are gotten by disenchanting stuff, every now and again theres a recipe that might need some random plant or ore but thats about it really. Annoys me that I spent so much time and effort levelling and then in group because I've leveleld it so high people can roll disenchant on them and I get nothing for it. Should be able to set a cost for a disenchant roll or somethign that goes to the person thats levelled the skill imo.

I should have elaborated more, i meant for you to get a scribe (inscription) to use those herbs to be milled into ink's which you can use to make vellums (armour and weapons) ,which you enchant to make tradable and sellable scrolls.

This way you're not having to rely on barking your wares in trade for hours for a few skillups or resorting to either doing free with mats enchants or paying people when you get a skillup (yes people do this).

Take mining now i'd say, farm a good few stacks of each ore nad keep them in the bank for now or mail them to an alt and leave them there, this way you have mats in reserve if you decided to level a crafting profession such as blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting or Engineering.

Also you can make a pretty penny by just mining and selling some of the lower to mid level ores such as thorium, truesilver and mithril.

Again depends on who you know and/or what professions you have on other characters, if you know a jc you could probably spend a few hundred gold (depending on your servers' economy) to grab a few stacks of eternal earth and a good few stacks of green northrend gems ( Chalcedony, Sun crystal, Huge citrine and Bloodstone).

If you happen to know a friendly jc you can convert these mats into a mass of rings and necklaces , which you can then d/e for a mass amount of dust's an essences.

I Used to do this a lot more beforehand but it takes too long and on my current server enchanting mats are lower priced and the green gems higher priced so where i am based there's not much profit to be had in the short term.

Ah yeah thats how Im doing it now, Armor Vellum III's
Will shout in trade if I know Im gonna be in town for a while but I dont really just hang around waiting on that alone.

As there doesn't seem to be another prof that ties well with Ench I may as well take Mining then.

Can you suggest any good items to craft purely for D/E into dusts and stuff?
The ones I look at all seem too expensive a craft to make it worthwhile.

Currently need infinite Dust and Cosmic Essence.

On a related note tho I do have netherweave coming outta my ass lol >.> gonna keep that for my preist to lvl crafting

If you haven't even hit Northrend yet, then stop enchanting and head there right away!! If you disenchant all the green quests rewards and drops you get from level 70 to 80 (ignoring the ones useful to you of course) you will easily get enough mats to level enchanting all the way to 450, and probably some Dream shards to buy the lvl80 recipes.

You should always level a garthering profession as you level, but as you are nearly 70 that would be a pain as you would have to go back to low level areas to mine\pick\skin. Sell everything you get from this as you level and you will have enough gold to powerlevel anything else you want at max level and have some gold left over.
