YOU ARE KIDDING ME, all this time ive been going through classic>tbc> wotlk

So much wasted time :(

I usually just copy the wow directory to an external drive now, no need for installs. Copy to an internal if i need it

Followed by one saying that the account is likely to have compromised off Blizzard.

someone probably brute forced your email account, it happened to me. I only noticed because gmail logs the ip of anyone that access' it

I always save all the patches from 3.1 onwards. TBC has all the vanilla patches, and WoTLK has all the TBC patches.

Kotick has nothing to do with this. BC, WotLK, and Cata CEs have exactly the same bonus content. Wish people stopped slapping that name every time they want to complain about WoW.

Are you one of those deluded people that think he has no control over the direction WoW has gone in the past 2 years? Can bet your behind, that like the "CE" for Starcraft 2, there will be so many units manufactured that there will still be plenty on the shelves come next easter...
CE for Catacalysm will be far less about being collectable and more about milking the many mug like customers

Really? The GAME stores I often visit have no CE SC2 left (website doesn't have them either), neither do HMVs. Granted, the WotLK CE still shows up in high street shops from time to time, but I put it more down to the fact that it had pretty much the same stuff as BC CE, so people weren't as attracted to it.
Will the same happen to Cata? More than likely, besides Blizz aren't a charity - if they can find ways to make more money, they will, regardless of who's at the steering wheel.

There were 8+ copies of sc2 CE at my local GAME store last Saturday (which is woking) - I also saw one in Oxford St hmv yesterday. Given that previous wow ce's were often sold out on pre orders alone (thus actually making them collectable) the cynic in me suggests the cataclysm ce will similarly be created in far greater numbers.

This has less to do with Blizz chugging out SC2 in great numbers and more to do with GAME and HMV distributing their stock around locations with the most possible buyers. I'm pretty certain, that once they hold those CEs for a while without selling them, they'll transfer them to other shops.
I'm also pretty certain they don't get all their CE stock in one wave - the first batch usually sells out, but then more copies appear in their warehouses and they have trouble getting rid of those (or, again, it may have something to do with stock distribution). Take GAME for example - they had to lower WotLK CE price to 13.99 on their website to sell it out.
 
I'm not a pet person so don't care about Lil Deathwing (hate the idea of pay for content, it's ruining the game, people standing around doing nothing with their paid for mount/pet, oh joy). Would like the music but they are suggesting it will be $80 so probably around £50 here. :(

Seen the price of Wotlk now? Really hard to get it below £15. Plenty of battlechests' to go around it seems though.
