So has telemetry died or what? Ive been watching for a few hours and they had so little on the graphics, the confusion by the commentators (no fault of their own) really hasnt helped (nor having so many countries with white jersies either

Looking at the map, there are fixed points where the time is given. So it seems it was an organisational decision to do it this way rather than have continual updates as in the tour de france.
