Ok then.

The only complaints I've really seen on American centric forums have been about judging controversies and things like using 15 year old volunteers for time keeping in important events.

Regarding the flag incident most comments I've seen have been along the lines of "oops" and people making jokes about it.

The thing which has cheesed me off the most is the US media.

The Face of the US, Media / presidential candidates have really show America for what it is.

Lots of American sports fans have been complaining about NBC too from what I've seen though. But this is what happens when significant amounts of funding for the Olympics come from TV networks and other private companies around the world. NBC paid $2.2 billion and have an exclusive contract.

Your comment about the US media showing America for what it is just seems strange to me. Personally I've been to the US numerous times and never met more warm and friendly people than I do there.
