Well yea I guess, but surely by logic you would want Del Potro to win to give Murray a better chance.

Murray has to beat Djokovic first, which will be a challenge.
I don't think the majority of tennis fans hope a player to lose to help another get a better draw.

Fair point, but if Murray isn't going to win i want Roger to.

Hopefully Murray can get into the final, but we will see.

I concur, I'm a big fan of Federer, just seems weird giving its the Olympics and the location of the Olympics.

Awesome match. Felt a bit sorry for Del Potro in the end, I hope he can pick himself up for the bronze medal match, would be nice to see him go away with something after that effort.

Murray on court now! He's going to have a tough 3 days (hopefully).. Got his singles game now, and if he finishes in time, will play his Mixed Doubles quarter tonight, otherwise will have to play a quarter and semi final tomorrow (if he they win), before potentially 2 finals on Sunday!

I dont usually watch a lot of sports, but I have been rivited to these olympics! GB just got gold in the mens cycling pursuit team too!

Ooooh? I missed that watching Murray. I'll watch the replay later. I love the BBC website lets you go back and watch everything you might have missed when it was on live. Hope they dont pull those vids down immediately after the games end.

Agreed on that! They need to keep an archive that you can access on demand. There may be an issue with the rights however (IOC may not let them do it)
