Going from the video replay it looks like Jess sat up a couple of tenths of a second too soon and that was all it took. Damn shame.

The speeds these guys do in the team pursuit always impresses me.
The current fastest team has an average speed of 37.5mph :eek:

and there are still faster teams to come. (thats with a standing start as well!).

How on earth do you pick a gear that will let you maintain 40mph, and also do a standing start :confused:

I'd imagine it's as simple as selecting different gears and seeing which produces the fastest lap time.

Jess really. When the goal is to go as fast as possible Vic shouldn't be expected to slow down.
