Yes, I said it was the safest, and lo, someone claimed it! If I claimed it first, then the other villager (i.e. you) would be free to claim something else which was unclaimed. We could have ended up with only one counter-claim and thereby less information.

I also only waited as long as necessary - Kill and Lep were still yet to claim.
 
Well, this is awkward.

Going through the admissions to find out someone has already claimed my role is somewhat enlightening.

My name is Pookie Bear and I'm the village Troublemaker. Last night, just before dawn, I swapped Brabbinho and chriscubed.
 
Brilliant.. we have 3 troublemakers!

Pookie took just 10 minutes to come back with his claim after the initial post, is that enough time to think it all through and come back with the perfect claim?

It would have been a lot easier to choose Insomniac if he was after a straightforward fake claim.
 
I had to read up on the rules as I was getting confused - and then type everything on my phone - otherwise it might have been quicker!

I decided honesty was the best policy - and while I might be the Troublemaker, I'm on the village side and I want to win! Brabbinho claiming my role is significant - and the manner in which he did it even more so. Tentatively, roundabout and without conviction to start, then getting more confident as no-one confronted him (which I obviously couldn't do as I wasn't here!). That said, I also swapped him with you, chriscubed. Which is somewhat unfortunate - for you, of course!
 
I don't think I was tentative in declaring I was the 3rd to do so. When asked I confirmed what action I had taken. It's up to the fellow villagers how they view my actions.

As I see it there are 3 troublemaking claimants. Myself, pookie and kill. 2 of which are lying.

Depending how we view Shami, Chris and Egon there is a liar in their midst as all 3 can't be telling the truth.

We need to find the one who is most likely a wolf to win
 
Following on from Brab's logic:

There are maximum 3 on the werewolf team - and no one has claimed insomniac so it's probably on the table.
2 are in group (Brab, Pookie, Kill)
1 is in group (Shami, Chris, Egon)
That makes 3.

If Shami is lying, then Short is also lying. That makes 4 liars - unless a townie is lying for some reason, this is impossible. Therefore, Shami and Short are telling the truth.

So, the liars are in these groups:
1 of Chriscubed or Egon
2 of Brab, Pookie or Kill

If that isn't dipping your toe in without actually admitting you're the Troublemaker, I don't know what is. When no-one confronted you, you then started to embellish on it - obviously assuming the card was still on the table. Sadly, it wasn't on the table, it was sitting in Leprechaun's inbox :D

K1LLSW1TCH hasn't claimed to be the Troublemaker. You yourself commented on his "may be" but now there is a firm claim (from me), he's now a claimant, according to you. You're using K1LLSW1TCH as a smokescreen. The only claimants to this role are you and me.

And this is exactly what I'm doing. I know what I am - and have announced from the very first moment I was involved in the game. The fact you've claimed my role (once you had no counterclaim in the first instance) says an awful lot about your motives...

I would just like to add that I also Brabbinho and Chriscubed.
From the second group, your logic makes it pretty easy for me - and since Brabbinho is 100% lying, he's top of my list.
Which now puts you at the top of my list.
 
Yep, I did mention that. His actions are certainly suspect, there is no doubt about that. Much like Brabbinho, he has started by almost making a claim but hasn't followed through - which is the main difference, as Brabbinho did once he wasn't opposed.

Of the three in that group (assuming Chriscubed's logic is good), I know I'm a villager, and the other two have both acted shadily - but only Brabbinho has outright lied. So my vote would be for Brabbinho - except I swapped him with Chriscubed. So Chriscubed is top of my list.

To Brabbinho:
You know I'M the Troublemaker. I have swapped you with Chriscubed, which means your team has quite possibly changed. Bear that in mind when deciding how to respond!
