One Night Ultimate OcUK Werewolf - Game 2

Apologies for not being around this morning, I should be available for most of the rest of the day. I've had a quick skim-read and see a number of people are interested in my target.

My role allows me to see for definite what one person was dealt, and take on that role for myself. However it is possible that the Troublemaker changed my new role after that.

I see that we have 4 people claiming 3 villager roles. My target was amongst these 4 people, and I can therefore confirm that Kaiowas is a villager.
 
I fear we've reached an impasse.

At present we have 3 people claiming villager. At least 1 of them is lying. We have no way of knowing whether any individual amongst them is being honest.

Assuming there is only 1 wolf/minion amongst them then the other 2 will have a 50/50 chance of guessing correctly but has no means of confirming their honesty to help the rest of us.

All of this stands regardless of whether everyone else is being honest or not with the exception that if you believe Chris is lying then I might not be a villager either and everyone's chance of guessing correctly is even worse.

At present all I have to go on is that Brabbinho was maybe a little too quick to get his claim in, but then he seems to end up playing a bad guy in basically every game, it can't be him every time!
 
I learnt last time playing a bad guy that I "claimed" a role to soon. If I was a wolf or minion this time I would have delayed.

As a villager and bored from not having a night role i thought I'd declare early.
 
Ok, so here is the thing. And this is going to be a shock. I am willing to admit I am lying about being a villager. However it has left me quite confused.

I am the seer. I didn't want to admit to this early on to see if someone else would claim my role. I looked in the middle and I saw a Werewolf at Card 2 and a Villager at Card 3.

That means we only have one Werewolf in play. I would suggest that Shami is the Werewolf and Short is the Minion.

However it still means we have one liar within the Villagers. I hid behind the villager as I knew it was in the middle and shouldn't have been claimed. So may the Werewolf is in fact in the other two villagers and Shami and Short are getting caught in cross fire?

I am not sure if I have played my hand too early in all this, or in fact should have called out earlier. My gut says Shami though.

Ekim - Seer (Viewed Card 2 (Werewolf), Card 3 (Villager))

shorttricky - Seer (Viewed Shamikebab)
Shamikebab - Troublemaker (Targets not declared)
 
Just been thinking on this, arg its all in my head. Looked back and Shami claimed fairly early.

Perhaps he is getting caught in cross fire and Short is the Werewolf and claimed Seer and used a role to 'look at' that had already been claimed?

My head is whirring with theories at the moment.
 
Interesting,

I can see no motive for you to be lying now. If you were a wolf/minion you would have been happy with the status quo. Throwing a grenade like you have would have served no purpose.

Based on your current claim this makes shorttricky look very bad. Waiting until last to claim, then claiming a role which at the time could not be counterclaimed but has since been so...

Shami doesn't look particularly guilty to my eyes. His only involvement would be to have been used as an alibi by shorttricky.

This leaves a situation where it appears as though shorttricky and either brabbinho/egon are minion/wolf with no clear sign as to which is which.
 
Of course all of this is based on original roles. Once Shami gets around to telling us who he swapped we could be pointing the finger in different directions.

If it turns out that shami has moved the wolf/minion cards somewhere else then hopefully the original recipient of them would see the logic in owning up.
 
Well I was just about to post something along the lines of what Kaiowas posted in post 49 but 1. I'm way too late and 2. Ekim opened a can of worms.
 
Well I can't see any reason for Ekim to claim to be the seer if he is a wolf. With that in mind Short tricky is certainly #1 suspect. Though is he deliberately trying to be caught as a minion or did he make a mistake as a wolf.
 
Another possible option that cannot be discounted:

Chris could have lied about who he targetted. If he robbed a wolf he could have considered me the most credible of the villager claimants and backed me up rather than admit he had become a wolf.
