OnePlus One.

That's nice to hear it's not as big as you feared... My biggest concern is the size, I've been taking the **** out of a mate with 6+ for weeks now because of the size... Concerned me a bit when I found the opo is the same size!

How are you finding the switch to android? That could be the deal breaker for me after years of iOS... Seems like you had a fairly smooth move over though :)

Yeah I know what you mean, for years I've been banging on about the 5/5S being the perfect size for a device and here I am nudging the realms of phablet territory lol. I've got pretty big hands, so I'm not finding it too bad. Swipe down from the top is a bit of a challenge mind. Ah talking of swiping, a gripe. What the hell is the point of putting swipe up functions in, makes for a real mess in some apps. GMail attachments for example. You get the image, the Google launcher and somehow ended up with Google Now open too. Needs a tweak methinks.

I won't lie, the first thing I did was set up all my apps in exactly the same lay out. :D I'm fairly dyed in the wool when it comes to UI, I fear change generally but this has been OK. There's enough customisation in Android to allow for tweaks to just about anything needed, so I'm not too worried. I'm glad they've sorted out all the fonts and spacing and stuff which looked really Mickey Mouse in previous incarnations. It's definitely matured massively in the last couple of iterations. Very much looking forward to Lollipop when it's released.

Bought an invite yesterday and ordered one, phone will be with me tomorrow. I really can't believe people/reviewers are pulling their hair out about having to wait for invites. 10 quid to save all that hassle and kissing ass on the one plus forum to get an invite or frantically trying to get a preorder in only to wait 3 weeks for delivery. That's less than the price of a decent case. People be crazy, yo. It really does baffle me.

And people paying even more to get Chinese ones with questionable warranties?! What!!

Going on forums every day trying to hunt one down doesn't strike me as being particularly patient. (By the way I'm not talking about OCUK, I'm talking about various forums ive come across through my research on the phone).

I'd completely understand if people were patient enough just to wait for a preorder or an invite to come around, but I really wouldn't call group of consumers that are after a OPO patient. Lots of people are livid they haven't got one yet, and some people have even changed their minds about getting a phone they are lusting over; surely just pay a tenner and be done with it? Its still pretty much half the price of any other flagship

I got my one this morning. I think it has the very slightest hint of yellowing at the bottom of the screen like many others. However, it is so slight that I don't think I would have noticed it had I not known it was common fault. I have read numerous reports that it disappears after a while, does anyone know this to be true? Or on the contrary, does anyone know if it is likely to get worse? I won't be returning it unless it will get worse; it really isn't much an issue as I really have to look hard on a white background to see it.

Same here... mine arrived yesterday.

For some reason the OTA to 38R failed and I had to reflash 33R (into recovery, clear cache, apply update) then 38R OTA worked and then 44S.

If I look REALLY closely, there is some very minor yellow if you go looking for it and the brightness is low... but really nothing that a normal person would find a problem. Not an issue for me.

No phone is perfect... and for £274 shipped this is very good value (compared to the new nexus... but a fair toss-up between this and the old Nexus 5).

Mine has had a Nilkin 9H tempered glass on since opening (never had a finger print on the screen) and a Diztronic Black TPU case. Screen breakages are a world of pain.

OTG USB works out of the box and CM11 is mercifully free of cruft.

Roll on Lollipop.
