OnePlus One.

I must have got really lucky, there's no trace of yellow on mine. Phew.

These tempered glass screen protectors are a revolution, so much nicer than the traditional ones.

Turned mine on for the first time today, and straight away hit a very strange problem!

My network router is a BT Home Hub 4, and although the phone initially connects to it, the Home Hub will them immediately 'reboot', but will eventually settle down again, only to restart again the next time I attempt a wi-fi connection.

Even after leaving it for an hour or so, the problem still re-occurred.

Has anyone else experience this sort of behaviour, or know how to cure it please?

The phone is brand new and is a mid-October build and I have not yet received a firmware update. I have an EE SIM inserted and can connect to this OK.

Hopefully someone on here will be able to help me out, as I never heard of this sort of behaviour happening before! :)

Yes I am looking forward to lollipop too, even though the update has ruined my 2012 nexus 7. Any word on the eta for the OPO?

This phone really is amazing value for money though. Its a noticeable yet incremental upgrade from my g2. I suspect the difference is largely the lack of bloat.

try 44s. it has some wifi fixes. you need to go 38R incremental first if you are on 33R. OTA is best. but if you have no wifi on your phone then you can download on a computer and transfer over

of course, do this at you own risk and ONLY if you are ok with flashing phones in recovery mode .....loads of info on the one plus CM11 forums.

this process does not require rooting as the updates are properly signed here. use the signed flashable zips and OTA incremental zips

if you dont feel comfortable doing this then the safest way to do it is to go to a friends house and do OTA on their wifi.. assuming it is a BT specific problem... it is under settings, about this phone and system updates

Thanks for your reply, but after a bit of late night 'Googling' I managed to track down the cause of the problem which was a so called 'feature' or 'wizard'on the BT Home Hubs 4 & 5 called Smart Setup.

As soon as I turned it off in the Hub Manager I was ablr to connect 'normally', and was then able to enjoy a fast and stable WiFi connection.

After quite a few Google & Play Store updates I was informed that XNPH 38R Incremental was available for me OTA, so have now 'upgraded' to that.

No sign of 44S yet though, but it does look as if it is slowly trickling through.

I still have quite a few things to learn about this phone, but my first impressions are very positive! :)

Just received my Diztronic Flexible TPU Case for OnePlus One, and it's a really good case, adds very little bulk and wraps around the edge of the screen so has some protection if dropped or when lain on a desk.

Two down points for me noticed in the last day or so, one OPO and one Google.

- Bluetooth audio/general bluetooth pairing. Hit and miss... miss... you're outta there. Paired with my head unit yesterday, point blank refuses now. It seems the MAC of the HU, but fails pairing in either direction.

- Google Y U MAKE ME SIGN UP TO G+ TO SEND PICTURES VIA HANGOUTS? Sigh. I point blank refuse to sign up to G+ because it's terrible, and the Ts and Cs are creepy and weird and quite frankly I hate having services shoved down my throat. So, Whatsapp or bust. :D

Has everyone received 44S OTA now?

I am still not really sure what actually 'triggers' the notification that an update is available.

Not sure what the issues is with BT pairing, but no issues with pairing and my G watch R..

The only thing I'm not completely happy with is the camera, coming from an S4 its not as good inside or in low light imo.

But I can live with it.

Set yourself up and send out invites in the app to your contacts :)

I much prefer BBM, more secure, nicer interface, more options etc...

Ah if only things were that simple, people fear change. :D I'll give it a go, but I expect it'll just be me being forever alone.

Paired with my Pebble fine, but seems to have had a proper fit about anythign else since. Odd.
